The weeks leading up to an E3 are typically filled with a myriad of leaks, rumors, and speculation, and that has certainly been the case with the build to E3 2019. Indeed, a myriad of E3 2019 leaks, including a supposed full leak of the Microsoft E3 2019 press conference, have fueled fan excitement in preface of the expo in June. Now, yet another leak has begun circulating, and it suggests that E3 2019 may feature a brand new Ubisoft IP called Roller Champions.

This leak originates from Twitter user New_WabiSabi in a tweet that indicates that Roller Champions is "very likely" to be revealed at E3 2019. While this is certainly far from an official announcement, and should thus be approached with skepticism, New_WabiSabi has a history of confirmed public leaks, including leaking The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening remake for Switch and the Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid roster, giving some credence to their claims.

With respect to the specifics of Roller Champions, it is said that it "involves skating and a sports ball," and it has a "very nice style to it." The supposed Roller Champions logo that was included with the leak may offer a bit more insight on exactly what sort of style the new Ubisoft IP will bring to the table.

The leaker further indicates that their source has provided "very professional shots and artwork from the game," the quality of which made them feel confident that Roller Champions is legitimate. Seemingly, these assets have allowed New_WabiSabi to form the opinion that "the game doesn't look very graphically intensive."

Notably, there is already a rumor circulating that another new Ubisoft game is set to shown at E3 2019. More specifically, some are expecting that Watch Dogs 3 will be announced at E3 2019, speculation that has been fueled by the official Watch Dogs Twitter account.

Fortunately, E3 2019 is under three weeks away, which means that players will not have to wait much longer to see if Roller Champions and Watch Dogs 3 are indeed in the Ubisoft E3 2019 plans. Until then, fans might find enjoyment in speculating about what this supposedly stylish sports game could ultimately be.

Roller Champions is rumored to be in development for unspecified platforms.
