Unfortunately, Ubisoft has previously stated that its subscription service is not going to be part of the Xbox Game Pass. This decision may have been influenced by a desire to retain control over its own platform, or by differences in the two companies' business strategies. After the unfortunate demise of Google Stadia, Ubisoft+ is now currently only available for the PC for the monthly price of $14.99.

While Ubisoft+ is not available on consoles yet, PlayStation players can enjoy a similar service called Ubisoft+ Classics which includes a smaller selection of games. Ubisoft has claimed for a long time that Ubisoft+ will eventually be available on both Xbox and PlayStation consoles, however, despite these claims, there has been no official announcement or release date for this expansion.

The online reactions to the leaks have been mixed, to say the least, as some consider Ubisoft+ to be not worth its price. After all, many Ubisoft games are very often involved in a sale, and many of them have already been available through the Xbox Game Pass at some point in time. Even though it remains unclear when exactly Ubisoft+ will be available on consoles, it is clear that the company is committed to expanding its subscription service to new platforms.
