Ubisoft has a subscription service called Ubisoft+ that gives players access to various games. This includes Ubisoft’s catalog from years past and the most expensive editions of new games on day one. As a result, fans can play all the latest releases in their favorite Ubisoft franchises, such as Assassin’s Creed and Far Cry, without paying anything on top of the subscription fee.Ubisoft+, formerly known as Uplay+, launched in September 2019 for PC. It costs $14.99 every month, so the asking price is comparable to other subscription services like EA Play Pro. Ubisoft+ is only available on PC as of now, but it looks like the service will be coming soon to Xbox consoles. It was originally announced for Xbox in January of this year, but Ubisoft has not given any further details regarding the launch plans.RELATED: Ubisoft is Hiring for Its Big Star Wars Video Game ProjectA Twitter user named ALumia_Italia is known for their Xbox-centric leaks. As reported by Video Games Chronicle, ALumia_Italia posted a picture of the logo of Ubisoft+ earlier today. While the user has not given any more information, there's a good chance that Ubisoft+ will launch on Xbox consoles in the near future.

While every leak should be taken with a grain of salt, ALumia_Italia has proven to be a reliable source in the past. Last month, they leaked that Immortals Fenyx Rising will be coming to Xbox Game Pass. This was later confirmed by Microsoft as Immortals Fenyx Rising is scheduled to release on Xbox Game Pass on August 30.

It’s unlikely for Microsoft to add Ubisoft+ to Xbox Game Pass as the original announcement simply mentioned it coming to the Xbox platform. Additionally, Ubisoft+ costs as much as Xbox Game Pass Ultimate every month. EA Play is a part of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, but only the standard version of the service, which costs $4.99 per month, is available to subscribers.

Ubisoft offers another version of Ubisoft+, known as Ubisoft+ Classics, that comes with several games from the publisher’s back catalog. This list includes Assassin's Creed Valhalla, The Crew 2, Trials Rising, South Park: The Fractured but Whole, and more. PS Plus Extra and Premium subscribers get Ubisoft+ Classics at no extra cost and Ubisoft plans to increase the lineup to 50 games by the end of the year. Ubisoft could add Ubisoft+ Classics to Xbox Game Pass and offer the premium version as a separate purchase to fans who want to play new Ubisoft games on release day.
