Ubisoft revealed a teaser trailer for its Ubisoft Forward event. The event comes at a difficult time for the company, which has just suspended several executives following accusations of abuse, including two executive vice presidents.

Ubisoft has just released a short teaser video for Ubisoft Forward, which is going to take place on July 12, 2020, at 12 PM PDT. The Ubisoft teaser is just 33 seconds long, and mostly features footage from Watch Dogs Legion, Assassin's Creed Valhalla, and new battle royale game Hyper Scape. The description for the teaser says that the event will be a "summer celebration of Ubisoft’s upcoming lineup of games and content."

While Ubisoft hasn't confirmed just what announcements fans can expect, the community has been making some educated guesses. There will likely be some sort of release date announcement for Watch Dogs Legion after that game was delayed from March 2020 to an unspecified date. Ubisoft has said that Watch Dogs Legion will be available on PS5 and Xbox Series X and with these consoles launching in holiday 2020, it would be surprising if the game didn't get a release date soon.

Fans will also want to see some real gameplay from Assassin's Creed Valhalla. Ubisoft was criticized for the Assassin's Creed Valhalla trailer it showed at the Xbox Series X gameplay event, as it seemed to mostly be made up of CGI footage. There is a lot to the game, from Viking raids and giant battles with Anglo-Saxon armies to rap battles and Viking clan management and any or all of these features could be shown during Ubisoft Forward.

Ubisoft is also likely to reveal more about Hyper Scape and when the game's full release will be available. While fans of the new battle royale title can get a Hyper Scape technical test code by watching Twitch streams, there is no information on when it will be available to everyone, without a code. Fans have also been asking for more information on when the game will be coming to consoles as Ubisoft has only said that it will be available on Xbox and PlayStation platforms at a later date.

There could be some surprises too as fans have spotted a locked Prince of Persia Twitter account that seems to have been made by Ubisoft. This could suggest that a new Prince of Persia game announcement is coming soon. If Ubisoft is planning a big reveal for a new game in the series, it will likely come at Ubisoft Forward.
