The west coast has had a dangerous week with a fairly massive earthquake and tons of aftershocks causing scares in California and the surrounding areas. In the age of Twitch streaming, it shouldn't come as much of a surprise that a handful of gamers were actually recording live reactions as the earthquake and some of its aftershocks took place. Among those who were live on Twitch during the drama was popular streamer Michael ‘Shroud’ Grzesiek.

Shroud was in the middle of broadcasting to thousands of subscribers and fans when the earthquake hit earlier this week on July 5. The streamer was in the middle of dropping into an Apex Legends Seasons 2 Ranked Mode test game when he realized that another earthquake was getting started. He definitely kept his cool and, against the advice of some wise people, decided to stay in his chair and continue streaming instead of taking shelter in a doorway or under a table.

Understandably, his reaction to the intense tremors includes some colorful language, so maybe don't watch the reaction clip with any kids around...

Luckily, it seems like streamer stayed safe through the earthquake and his room didn't take any visible damage, though things were definitely rattling around. After the earthquake was over, Shroud summed up his thoughts about what took place on Twitter with an in-character "AHHH." He also went on to stream quite a bite more Apex Legends, so definitely check that out if you are interested in the Season 2 changes that were announced and discussed at E3 2019.

Apex Legends is available now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
