Yesterday, October 26, popular Twitch streamer Pokimane revealed she’d make the “biggest announcement of [her] career” today, October 27. Given the huge successes Pokimane has seen in the content creation and streaming spaces, this could have been anything, and it would have had to be a huge announcement given the big reveals she has done in the past, such as when Pokimane limited donations.

Now, Pokimane has officially revealed that she is co-founder and Chief Creative Officer of RTS, a new company backed by Endeavor. Per RTS’ official website, the goals of the company are to “fix” the gaming and esports industry, focusing on the creator business model, brand deals, and esports strategies. As co-founder and CCO, Pokimane will be using her extensive experience as a Twitch streamer and content creator to enable new and upcoming folks in the industry. RTS will work with talent, events, and brands such as Epic Games/Fortnite World Cup, Facebook, and EVO—which it owns and manages alongside Sony.

Indeed, Pokimane has many credits in the industry to her name, being considered one of the most popular streamers for Fortnite, Valorant, League of Legends, and Among Us, having played the latter with several big names like Lil Nas X, Valkyrae, and Congresswoman AOC in the past. She has also accumulated over 30 million followers across social media, founded OfflineTV, been named to Forbes 30 Under 30 list, and created scholarships.

In regard to her role specifically, Pokimane has said, “I keep seeing amazing creators that are doing wonders with their content and streams, but they don’t have the support to grow their brand and business operations…My goal is to take my years of experience and make it accessible to newer creators so they don’t need to go through the process I have endured.”

In short, the company will be focused on all things brand and talent management in the game streaming world, working with content creators, developers, and various brands in the process. This includes helping creators run a stable business, create staying power, grow brands, and improve relationships with brands and publishers with support teams, and to make a “substantive and sustainable impact” on the industry.

Alongside Pokimane, RTS is led by CEO Stuart Saw, formerly of Twitch and Endeavour; COO Kim Phan, formerly of Blizzard and Endeavor, VP Talent Management Sue Lee, formerly of Twitch; VP Sales and Partnerships Jason Scorrano, formerly of PAX and Turner Sports; and a strong advisory board with as many experienced individuals.
