Apex Legends has enjoyed a large amount of popularity on Twitch recently. In fact, it was the most-streamed game on the platform following the start of Season 13. Despite this popularity, it appears that one of the battle royale’s most popular streamers could be moving on soon.

While the list of notable Apex Legends streamers is long, one of the more popular over the last couple of years has been LuluLuvely. One needs only to look at her impressive numbers on Twitch to realize the presence she has managed to create streaming the game. Her live streams typically draw several thousand viewers, and she has amassed over 1.3 million followers on Twitch and 802K subscribers on YouTube. While her large fanbase enjoys tuning into her regular Apex Legends content, it seems that might not be happening for much longer.

During a recent broadcast, LuluLuvely discussed her future on the platform. Specifically, she talked about how she felt about Apex Legends. Unfortunately for fans of the streamer, she revealed that she was debating quitting the game. According to the streamer, she was considering making her potential trip to the Apex Legends LAN event her “farewell” to the battle royale. When asked the reasoning for possibly leaving the game that helped her become popular, she cited a lack of new content. She noted that there were no LTMs and custom lobbies in Apex Legends were still not working.

It is worth noting that LuluLuvely has not confirmed that she is quitting Apex Legends. For the time being, it seems likely that fans will be able to continue watching her dive into matches on Storm Point and the other maps in the battle royale. Nevertheless, her desire to leave the game is telling, and it could prove to be a sign of things to come regarding other streamers.

This latest news from Twitch streamer LuluLuvely points to an issue that Apex Legends is currently having. Despite the standard Ranked and Public matches offering a solid gameplay experience, there are not a lot of other options for players to check out. While it is true that the game features Arenas, a 3v3 elimination-style mode, it has not managed to receive the same level of popularity as the battle royale. In addition, LTMs, such as the popular 9v9 Control mode, are currently unavailable in-game.

However, it should be mentioned that the developers at Respawn Entertainment have plans to add some new content in the coming days, as the Awakening Collection Event was recently announced. As part of the event, the Control LTM is making a return on the World's Edge map and a LifeLine Town Takeover is coming on Olympus. It seems time will tell if this type of content drop can convince LuluLuvely to continue to play the game. If not, she could be moving on to other games in the coming weeks.

Apex Legends is available now for Mobile, PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
