Twitch live streams are interrupted by events happening in the everyday lives of Twitch streamers from time to time. Usually, these events are harmless--or at least small-scale--inconveniences, but sometimes a streamer's audience gets a glimpse of something more concerning.

Recently, Russian Twitch streamer girl__fighter, known as Victoria, had her home invaded mid-live stream by an intruder who broke her window. The stream shows her and a friend pleading with him to stop before he seems to knock over her gaming set-up.

Victoria is known for streaming both video games and pole dancing sessions, and her pole dancing set-up is visible behind her during the home invasion recording. The invader may have been focused on her gaming set-up, or he may not have had time to go after more of her belongings before one of the girls appears to have maced him. The video has since been pulled from Twitch, which may not be surprising considering the stringent and labyrinthine guidelines that led one Twitch streamer to be banned for three-year-old videos, but mirrored versions are still available on sites like Streamable. The video froze up after the computer was knocked over, ending the live feed, but Victoria began streaming pole dancing and dynamic stretching again a few hours later. While the channel's social media has been privated, it appears that the streamer is all right. It remains to be seen whether this incident will have lasting consequences, who the intruder was, and why he broke a window to interrupt the live stream and try to destroy Victoria's belongings. Many Twitch controversies boil down to DCMA claims, such as xQc's recent ban seemingly for watching the Olympics, and some viewers seem to be unsure how to react to this more serious event.

On Reddit, opinions are split between being supportive and negative to Victoria. While many have voiced their sympathy to her for going through such a terrifying experience and the belief that the invader deserved to be maced, others have argued that the invader was simply an angry neighbor who couldn't take Victoria's loud music and screaming on-stream. As the identity of the invader is currently uncertain, it's difficult to say how much truth there is to this position. However, even on Reddit, several posters who have lived with loud neighbors expressed that noise is simply part of apartment life and that having one's space invaded by angry individuals is far worse.
