Live streaming on Twitch has gained a lot of traction in recent years, especially considering the number of people spending more time in their homes than ever before. However, other companies have risen to challenge Twitch and create their own competing game streaming service.

Currently, one of the biggest competitors for Twitch right now is Facebook Gaming, which has had a massive advantage over other companies considering it was built on a previously well-established social media platform. As a result, the service has been able to snag some incredibly popular streamers, including DisguisedToast, Stone Mountain 64, and even former UFC fighter Ronda Rousey.

Now, it seems that Facebook attempted to get another exclusive streaming deal with a popular Twitch streamer, most commonly known among his fans as Penta. Penta currently has 268,000 followers on Twitch and most commonly does GTA Roleplay streams. During one of his streams, Penta revealed that the company offered him millions of dollars to make the transition over to Facebook Gaming.

In Penta's stream, it seems he couldn't disclose the official amount that Facebook offered him. Most likely due to some sort of Non-Disclosure Agreement. However, he does make a related joke saying he would have to win "Who Wants to Be a Millionairefive times in order to recuperate the losses. And while he admits that the actual amount wasn't exactly $5 million, it is safe to assume that the amount he was offered is close.

While it is unclear why Penta did not take the deal, he seems to have possibly regretted his decision based on his screaming reaction after he made the joke. For many, $5 million dollars is definitely not something to brush off easily. And, if Facebook is willing to put that kind of money into every deal, then it is safe to assume the company is planting its feet in the streaming industry for many years to come. It will be interesting to see which other streamers decide to make the change moving forward.

Hopefully, Penta continues to make the type of content he loves, no matter what platform he decides to stick with. Penta is most recently known for his involvement in the GTA RP NoPixel server. In it, he plays a variety of different characters, including Sheriff Randy Wrangler, Chase Clouter, and Jordan Steele. Aside from that, Penta also plays Dungeons and Dragons with friends online and does some Just Chatting streams where he cooks food with guests.
