Tier lists have become a common staple of Twitch streamers in the Just Chatting category, and many livestreamers have adopted the idea like Asmongold, Mizkif, and xQc. Popular Twitch streamer Maya Higa recently stirred some Twitch drama like how others have with categorizing like this by placing Amouranth at the bottom of her tier list.
During a Twitch stream on July 6, Maya joined Nick "Nmplol" Polom and Malena Tudi to reveal her list of the funniest livestreamers on the platform. It wasn't long ago that the frequent leader of Twitch statistics, xQc, caused drama of his own with a similar list in which he placed HasanAbi and Pokimane in the B category, inspiring xQc and Hasan to reconcile in person. Given where she places Amouranth and Hasan in her own tier list, Maya may have some patching up of her own to do after a clip of her rankings started making the rounds on Reddit.
According to Maya's tier list of funny content creators, Trainwrecks is in the S tier above Mitch Jones and 39daph in the A category, and the recently returned streamer Jschlatt floats comfortably in the B rank. Asmongold is in D rank just below Will Neff in Maya's tier list, and there are only a couple of streamers at the bottom level. Maya sticks Amouranth and HasanAbi to the bottom of the tier list board next to Shroud while claiming that the two of them aren't intentionally funny, unlike Trainwrecks or Jschlatt. Nmplol remains unperturbed by Maya's ranking of Amouranth, but her placement of Hasan Abi causes him and Malena to leave the livestream temporarily as Maya justifies putting Hasan in F tier.
"Amouranth has made me laugh before with self-aware jokes," said Maya during the aforementioned tier list stream. "That being said, funny is not what she does. But she can be funny. I'll put her here, but she can be funny." Maya stated while inserting Amouranth into the bottom, and she had similarly harsh words for Hasan Abi. "He’s not supposed to be funny! He’s not supposed to be a funny streamer. That’s not his thing," Maya claimed before putting him in the same controversial F tier as Amouranth. Although she doesn't clarify why she's including the two streamers in a list of funny Twitch streamers without considering them funny, Amouranth is often opening Pokemon TCG packs during hot tub streams and Hasan regularly talks about politics with his audience.
While it's currently unclear what inspired Maya to create a tier list of funny Twitch streamers, many responses to the clip circulating insist that it's an effort to create drama. Several Twitch viewers either voiced agreement or disagreement for Maya's tier list as it's being created, and some continue to anticipate a response from Amouranth and Hasan on Twitch. A considerable amount of replies to the livestream fails post also called for Forsen to be included just as fans of others protest their favorite Twitch streamer's placement.
