The controversial hot tub streamer Kiaraakitty has just been banned from Twitch for the fifth time. It's the second time she's found herself banned from Twitch since the year began.Based in Singapore, the female Twitch influencer is known for her IRL (In Real Life) streaming which, in her case, is often done in hot tubs. When she’s not relaxing in the water and talking to her many fans, she’s often playing popular games such as Grand Theft Auto 5 or Overwatch, which has given her some points with the gamer crowd. She started her career back in 2017 and has achieved quite a following online since then. At the moment, the streamer has over 189,000 followers on Instagram, 140,000 on TikTok, 76,000 on Twitter, plus over 350,000 on her Twitch platform, which is currently offline.RELATED: Twitch Has Unbanned F1NN5TERThis week, Kiaraakitty has managed to get her fifth ban from the platform for reasons which are still not confirmed at the time of this report. Considering her track record and that the ban transpired on Valentine’s Day, it’s likely related to her not strictly following Twitch’s guidelines for sexual content. This new ban happened less than a month after the previous ban on January 22, which was caused by her wearing unsuitable clothing during a stream and making suggestive movements. At the time, she was only out of the Amazon-owned platform for four days, but her third ban, back in 2021, lasted for over a month. During this occasion, she was kicked from the website due to a controversial stream in which she appeared in a hot tub with four other girls in bikinis.

After the news broke out, some people started to make fun of the whole situation on Twitter. One user named MrIntake said that he was starting to know Kiaraakitty only because of how often she was banned. Other opinions were fairly divided, though. While some of her fans seemed pretty sad that the influencer would be gone, other Twitter users were clamoring for a permanent ban. This echoes recent controversial opinions stated by Twitch streamer Adin Ross, who asked Twitch to ban hot tub streaming.

At the moment, it’s impossible to know whether Kiaraakitty’s current ban will last or not. Twitch bans are comically common for many reasons, and even the official Amazon Music Channel got kicked from the platform lately. However, it’s not too far-fetched to expect Kiaraakitty to be back soon, whether in a day or two or after a whole month. Despite her previous bans, she has a pretty big fanbase and has recovered from similar situations before.
