Twitch E3 Schedule Teases Unannounced Games

By | 2 years ago

Every year gamers can count on the Electronic Entertainment Expo to offer sneak peaks at upcoming software and hardware from a long list of developers and publishers. Rumors about games that might be revealed at the event next week have already begun swirling, but we’ll have to wait a few more days before the party kicks off. As the event approaches, avid fans will need to start mapping out a plan for how to keep up with the breaking news each day.

A trip to the Los Angeles Convention Center may not be in the cards for the majority of consumers, but that doesn’t mean they have to miss out on the action.  In addition to the full E3 2014 coverage we’ll be posting throughout the event, interested parties can also stream the majority of the event thanks to Twitch. The team at Twitch released a full broadcast schedule, so streamers will know what to expect between June 9 and 12.

In addition to letting gamers know when to tune in, the Twitch schedule also teases some exciting unannounced reveals that are on the docket. Here’s what we’re in store for…

Over the course of the four-day event coverage, the stream includes coverage on four unannounced Nintendo games and two unannounced Microsoft games. Fans can also expect reveals from SCEA, Ubisoft, Square Enix, EA, Deep Silver, and more.

As games continue to be announced throughout this week (like Mortal Kombat 10, Forza Horizon 2, and Homefront: The Revolution are the latest) we imagine that we’ll be able to cross a few of these surprise reveals off of the list.

Some developers are already making clarifications about the list, in order to avoid confusion or over-excitement from the community. Bethesda took to Twitter shortly after the list was posted to announce that its ‘announced title’ is the free-to-play multiplayer game BattleCry.

Fans on Twitter who had their hopes set on something more along the lines of Fallout 4 complained that BattleCry isn’t really an unannounced title, with Bethesda agreeing, and explaining that it wanted to clarify that confusion before fans took the Twitch announcement the wrong way. We’ll find out soon enough if the other ‘unannounced titles’ are a little more surprising and exciting to eager fans than Bethesda’s.

What are your predictions for the unannounced games? Let us know in the comments.
