Popular Twitch streamer Mira, who hails from Russia and boasts a massive following of over 444,000 fans, has been banned from the platform due to accusations of violating Twitch's community guidelines. Mira's popularity on Twitch can be attributed to her entertaining streams, which include Just Chatting, IRL, Pools, Hot Tubs, and Beaches, as well as her reputation for playing a wide variety of games such as Grand Theft Auto 5, Dota 2, Fortnite, PUBG: Battlegrounds, and more. There is no denying that Twitch is a highly popular platform that has been embraced by gamers and streamers worldwide for its versatility and wide range of offerings. However, Twitch's strict community guidelines have frequently been a topic of discussion. While Twitch provides a certain level of creative freedom, it enforces specific rules that must be adhered to, and any violation of these rules can result in a ban.RELATED: Amouranth Challenges Adriana Chechik to Boxing MatchMira, who last year made headlines for facing a creepy stalker situation, is the latest popular female streamer to be hit with a Twitch ban. Although there hasn't been any specific information provided as to the reason for Mira's most recent ban, it's worth noting that she has previously faced bans for breaking Twitch's community guidelines on nudity. According to Streamer Bans, this is the seventh time that Mira has been banned from the platform, with the longest ban lasting four days.

In 2022 alone, Mira was banned from Twitch three times, and this latest ban marks the second time this year her account has been suspended. It remains to be seen how long this latest ban will last and how Mira will react. Interestingly, in the aftermath of a previous ban, Mira called out Twitch for promoting misogyny on its platform by shaming women's bodies while turning a blind eye to men freely flaunting their physiques on camera. She argued that Twitch applies a double standard when it comes to banning female streamers for showing even a small part of their clothed bodies while giving male streamers a free pass.

Mira is not the only female Twitch streamer recently hit with a ban. On May 4, Twitch announced it had banned Amouranth, one of its most-watched female streamers. However, Twitch reversed its decision and reinstated Amouranth's channel on the platform just one day later. Given Mira's history with bans, which have only lasted a maximum of four days, it's likely she too will be unbanned soon.
