Tribes of Midgard has many classes to choose from. Players begin the game with the Ranger and Warrior classes, but there are six other classes that they will need to unlock. Each of these classes has a requirement that must be met before players can begin using it.

The Berserker, perhaps the most damaging of all the classes, tasks players with defeating 20 enemies within 10 seconds to unlock it. That is a difficult task, but not impossible. It will take some hard work and dedication, but committed players will be able to unlock the class in no time. Here's how to do it.

Preparation

Before players embark on their quest to unlock the Berserker, there are a few things they should keep in mind. Here's how to prepare for the enemy-slaying task.

Understanding The Class

The Berserker is definitely built to deal damage, with skills that increase the damage the player deals with axes and hammers. This class is meant to take enemies down quickly with its Wrath ability.

Those who take up this class can build up wrath and use it to blast enemies away with damaging pulses. Other abilities allow the player to gain mana for every enemy hit by their wrath blasts. Those looking to dispatch enemies quickly should put effort into unlocking the Berserker.

Choose A Good Class

When starting off in Tribes of Midgard, players should make sure to choose a class they feel comfortable with. Oftentimes, the Warrior class is the best to go with because it can deal great damage against the multitude of enemies the player will face.

This is especially true when it comes to the task of unlocking the Berserker class, since players must defeat so many enemies in such a short time. Choosing a class with great damage potential can help players kill the right number of enemies in the right amount of time.

Get A Strong Weapon

The player's choice of weapon is one of the most important things to consider, and will make the difference when it comes to attempting to the challenge. Plenty of players out there recommend getting the Hersir III sword or Sigyn's Blade III. This is because these swords are generally easy to craft and very powerful.

  • Sigyn's Blade gives players the ability to lay down a damaging field that can help chip away enemy health. It is also crafted using Helthing parts, which players will get every night they survive.
  • The Hersir Sword offers players the ability to do a devastating double spin that can annihilate the enemy's health. It is also crafted using Dokkalfar Orbs, which players will no doubt have picked up.

Methods For Unlocking The Berserker

Once players are prepped, it's time to undertake the challenge. These tried-and-true strategies are some of the best for completing it.

The Night Method

Many players have taken to the night method, which involves letting tons of enemies into the village at once to rack up the necessary twenty. Players will most likely lose when doing this, but getting the Berserker class unlocked will be worth it.

Getting ready for this method takes a little bit of time. Players will want to get to at least day six or seven before attempting this method. They should also stock up the Seed of Yggdrasil with souls to help it last as long as possible. Lastly, players will want to make sure they have the weaponry necessary to take on the enemies. As mentioned above, the Hersir III sword is a good choice thanks to its special abilities.

On day six or seven, players will want to build up all three of their village's gates, make sure they are closed, and let the enemies pile up. Wait until there are more than twenty enemies and then let them all in. The villagers might defeat a couple of enemies, but players should be able to kill the required twenty.

The Kiting Method

This method works best if the players go to either the Smoky Highlands or the Land of Pools. The reason for this is the smaller enemies. These goblins are easy to defeat, and players can often kill them with only one or two hits.

They are also easy to lure around the map. Some players have gotten away with luring these enemies through their biomes until they have the correct number following them, and then taking them all out at once. Coming across a camp helps get a lot of enemies at one time, but be careful, because they typically won't travel far from the camp. It is best to lure enemies towards a camp to make things a little easier. Using friends is a great way to help gather up enemies as well.

The Giant Method

Angrboda is one of the four giants that players have a chance of going up against when a Jotun appears in Midgard. This giant is easy to spot, thanks to the massive cloud of darkness that follows it around.

While this giant has some annoying attacks, it does have one that players can take advantage of: the ability to summon enemies. Players can use this giant's ability to help summon enemies into the world if they are lacking them.
