There are seven Artifacts and an assortment of unlockable upgrades and skills in the first chapter of Trek to Yomi. While many of these collectibles are unmissable, there are several tucked away in areas that are off the critical path. For those players that want to be sure that they do not miss any of Trek to Yomi's Chapter 1 collectibles and upgrades, details on all of their locations can be found in this guide.
Trek to Yomi: Chapter 1 Collectibles and Upgrades
Tamaya Mirror
Upon completing the tutorial, reenter the house and continue to the right. The Tamaya Mirror is on the ground in the gazebo.
Izanagi Print
Follow the path away from the house and move the cart for the old man. Ascend the stairs and enter the building on the left. The Izanagi Print is on a table in the establishment's first room.
Kai-Awase Shell
Continue forward and descend a flight of wooden stairs in this game published by Devolver Digital. Exit through the door on the left and speak with the merchant outside to obtain the Kai-Awase Shell.
Sakura Bloom
Pass back through the room with the wooden stairs and exit through the door on the right. Follow the path to reach a structure that has a flowing cloth above its entrance. Take a left once inside and pick up the Sakura Bloom from the wooden platform.
Field Mouse Sculpture
Exit the room with the Sakura Bloom and keep going straight. Continue forward until outside the gate and then fight to the second Shrine in Trek to Yomi. Go behind the fence that is at that Shrine to find the Field Mouse Sculpture in a small alcove.
Health Upgrade
There is a civilian crying in front of a Shrine not long after the Field Mouse Sculpture, and the Health Upgrade is on the ground just above them.
Rotation Attack
Trek to Yomi players will encounter some bandits on a bridge just beyond the Health Upgrade. They will unlock the Rotation Attack upon dispatching those bandits.
Bo-Shuriken
The Bo-Shuriken skill is obtained by speaking with the civilian on the ground right after the Rotation Attack bridge.
Kakute
Continue forward to encounter a civilian sitting atop a barrel in front of a house. The Kakute is inside the house.
Stamina Upgrade #1
Samurai video game fans will enter a house after passing through an area where there are many civilians on the ground. There is a door in the bottom-left corner of that house, and a Stamina upgrade is on the other side of it.
Bo-Shuriken Max Capacity Upgrade
Navigate to the second floor of the Stamina Upgrade house and cross over to enter another building. Speak with the woman in this building to obtain a Bo-Shuriken Max Capacity upgrade.
Izanami Print
Follow the path to reach the outskirts and pass by the fields in this stylish action game. Upon arriving at the wooden bridge, go right to enter a graveyard. Fight through the graveyard and continue right to reach an alcove that houses the Izanami Print.
Stamina Upgrade #2
The second Stamina Upgrade is in the same alcove as the Izanami Print.
