With the release of Transformers: War for Cybertron finally here, High Moon Studios has decided to release one final trailer in order to whet our appetites. I may have been critical in my earlier hands-on impressions, but this trailer does look good.
As is customary with most release trailers, the War for Cybertron trailer Accolade features mostly in-game footage, cut in with various recommendations from an assortment of gaming news sites. Naturally, it has been edited and refined to make the game look as good as possible, but admittedly this trailer has made me optimistic.
As I've mentioned before, I am no fan of Transformers (that's not to say, however, that I dislike the franchise -- I simply feel ambivalent towards it), but if this trailer is any indication of what the game is truly like, then the speed, weight and over-the-top transformations have me sold.
I won't back down from my previous comments -- the build I played at MCM 2010 was not anything mind-blowing, but if that was an old build, and if they've polished it to the state where it can stand alone as a good game, then I'll be first in line to take a look.
