At its E3 2018 press briefing, Ubisoft revealed a new trailer for Transference, their new VR psychological thriller that was first announced at last years E3. The game lets players shift perspectives between a troubled scientist and his family while exploring maze-like puzzles and navigating a multi-branching narrative played out by real actors.

Lord of the Rings star Elijah Wood took to the Ubisoft E3 2018 stage to show off Transference, which is being developed by Ubisoft's Montreal studio in partnership with Wood's film production company Spectrevision.

The new trailer, which can be watched below, showcases how Transference blends both movies and video games to create a classic horror effect with modern VR technology.

Though it was mentioned that Transference will be playable without VR, Ubisoft continues to show support for VR as the market continues to grow. So, this has a real shot at being one of their best VR titles yet.

Transference will be launching in Fall 2018 on PC, PS4, and Xbox One, and will be a VR title as well as a traditional title.
