Although Twitch banned gambling streams back in October, popular Twitch streamer Tyler "Trainwrecks" Niknam has teased that he's going to gamble on the Amazon platform in the near future. After a controversy with one Twitch livestreamer and a push from a large portion of the community, the Amazon streaming site changed its policies to ban most types of gambling, including Trainwrecks' usual category of slots. On November 27, Trainwrecks shared on his Twitter that he would be bringing back his gambling streams on December 1 because "Twitch has been boring." Throughout the FIFA World Cup 2022 event, Trainwrecks shared screenshots of multiple winnings, confirming that the popular livestreamer continues to gamble outside the view of his Twitch community, most of which followed him for such content to begin with. Ahead of the Twitch ban on gambling, Trainwrecks defended the content type unlike many other livestreamers in his position, and the upcoming December 1 stream may be a protest to the policy changes.RELATED: Twitch Streamer xQc Exposes Viewer That Donated Over $800 With Toxic Chat MessagesNot elaborating on whether the Twitch gambling streams will continue beyond December 1, Trainwrecks left is audience speculating on what to expect from the Thursday return. Trainwrecks regularly maintained tens of thousands of viewers during his gambling streams before the ban, allowing him to compete with other popular Twitch creators like Summit1g, Asmongold, and Mizkif. While he maintains a strong following that still often shows up for his Twitch livestreams which are primarily in the Just Chatting category now, his stats may have been negatively impacted by the policy changes that might have inspired the December 1 stream.

Because Twitch's gambling stream ban impacts “luck-based games” like dice games, Roulette, Blackjack, and slots, a large chunk of Trainwrecks' potential methods is seemingly locked off. Prior to the gambling policy changes, Trainwrecks was often streaming himself winning and losing large sums of money on Twitch which may be what he returns to on the aforementioned date. Though he may have continued to risk his funds on slots since the shift, Trainwrecks has respected the Twitch gambling ban, and he hasn't played slots on stream since October 17, but that may change later this week.

Many of Trainwrecks' fans have expressed enthusiasm for his return as if he was one of the content creators returning from a Twitch suspension like Adin Ross or Amouranth. With multiple Twitch community members responding with perplexity to gambling being more engaging than other categories, some Trainwrecks viewers stated that they left the platform the day that the ban started and that they will return on December 1.
