7 Taking One Route And Sticking To It
While there are multiple routes for a player to take when it comes to Train Sim World 3, there are many players who will simply take one route with their train and keep sticking to it. This is very much not a trap that a player wants to fall into.
Although it may be tempting to only play through the route that a player is most used to, there are a bunch of challenges and new experiences to be had with the many routes in the game. A player should really try to explore new routes.
6 Not Using The Training Center
The Training Center acts as a "tutorial mode" of sorts for the player to use when they first dive in. However, there are many people who do not realize that this is the purpose of the Training Center (or even know it exists).
As such, there will be many people who could use the guidance of the training center jumping right in, not realizing there are things they are messing up. It would benefit any player to at least take a peek at the Training Center and mess around for a little bit.
5 Forgetting About Quick Play Mode
There is actually a quick play mode within Train Sim World 3 that many players would end up glancing over while going through the many modes of the game. This is something that many players with a busy schedule would appreciate, as it will allow them to get a quick run in.
Quick play mode is also good for a player to learn about the basics of driving trains, though this is not something many people realize. Quick play mode condenses all of the gameplay into a quick drive around, allowing a newer player to get the feel of different trains and experiment with them.
4 Not Realizing There Is More Than Scenario Planners
While there are multiple scenarios that a player could enjoy as they go through Train Sim World 3, it is also worth noting that a player can also go off the rails - which is the literal term for this mode. They do not just have to go through the scenario planners.
A player can start to customize the trail that they go across with the Off the Rails feature. They can go off track or wherever they wish and get experience in controlling the train.
3 Not Remember To Design Their Train
While this is not really something that affects the game too much, it is still a neat little feature. Many players can end up glossing over this feature, but it is something that can add a little hint of personalization to the player's train.
A player has to enter the Livery Designer to start decorating their train. After that, though, a player is pretty much given free rein to customize their train to their heart's content.
2 Not Remembering The Online Sharing Hub
While Train Sim World 3 is more or less a singleplayer game, there is still a hub for players to share specific parts of their gameplay. There are a few players who do not know about it, which is a shame - there is quite a lot of good content that can be used.
The Online Sharing Hub is, essentially, where everything custom-made by players can be found. This can be new routes, customized trains, and more - there really is no limit to what kind of content players make and share with one another, and it would benefit a player to take a look.
1 Forgetting About Challenges For Rewards
Train Sim World 3 is not just about driving trains around areas. The "plot" of the game involves getting all sorts of important cargo across the world, and it is best to do that via the train.
A player can take on all sorts of different challenges to unlock additional items to take along, more details for designing their train, and more. There are not really a lot of people who realize that these challenges unlock all sorts of goodies for them, and may gloss by them - this is a large mistake to make.
