One of the central and mysterious figures of The Witcher 2 is the Kingslayer. This bald-headed behemoth and fellow witcher is protagonist Geralt of Rivia's main focus throughout the story, and from the outset, CD Projekt RED has promoted several trailers highlighting the Kingslayer's impact. Today, the Polish developer has released a new Xbox 360 video trailer which provides some insight into the Kingslayer's mindset.

For the uninitiated, witchers are powerful mutants capable of taking on multiple opponents in combat and are renown for their monster-slaying capabilities. They are basically "heroes" for hire with the caveat that the world of Tamriel cannot be distilled into such a basic black and white morality system. The existence of a witcher slaying kings is out of the norm, however, even in Geralt's universe and he is determined to discover who is behind this regicide conspiracy.

PC gamers who have completed The Witcher 2 won't find anything new in this trailer, but Xbox 360 players will want to take notice. Unlike the awesome trailer where the Kingslayer decapitated King Demavend and killed his crew during a voyage along the Pontar River, this new video shows off clips of actual in-game footage from the Xbox 360 version of the game. Amazingly, the graphic fidelity of the trailer compares rather favorably to the PC version of the game, even though the visuals are not quite on equal footing.

Narrated by the Kingslayer himself, the video montage shows various confrontations with Geralt and also reveals the monarchs who are in danger. Check out the video below:
