Video game trailers can either be really good, or really bad. This week's trailer round up proves that sentiment to be all too true.

Here, we've gathered the latest trailers for SSX, the Dragon Age anime, MLB 2K12, Dragon's Dogma, Kid Icarus: Uprising, Trials Evolution, Kinect Star Wars, and the upcoming Motorstorm RC. So without further ado, let's get started.

1. SSX:Uber Mondays Trailer - Eddie Wachowski

SSX is going to be pretty over the top, and we mean that in a good way. In the latest Uber Mondays trailer, EA has shown off the Uber move of playable character Eddie Wachowski. Titled "The Worm," players will be able to do the popular dance move on their snowboard. If you're looking for an over the top snowboarding game (or a throwback to the series' roots), than SSX may just be the game for you.

2. Dragon Age Anime Trailer

Dragon Age 2 wasn't exactly loved by fans, but EA plans to make for it with a Dragon Age Anime! Joking aside, Dragon Age will follow in the footsteps of EA franchises Dead Space and Dante's Inferno in anime form. However, unlike those two franchises, the art style in Dragon Age: Dawn of the Seeker will be radically different. The FUNimation produced project lands in Spring 2012, but you can check out a sneak peak below:

3. MLB 2K12 Trailer

2K is back at it again this year, with another release in the MLB 2K franchise. In MLB 2K12 players can look forward to more gorgeous visuals and realistic gameplay. Judging by the trailer, players will be able to start off as a rookie and work their way up to stardom. As always the game looks to be a real treat for baseball fans.

4. Dragon's Dogma Story Trailer

Capcom has released a Dragon's Dogma story trailer that helps elaborate on the more vague announcement trailer that was heavier on gameplay. With elements reminiscent of 90's film DragonHeart, the game features an ill-fated hero whose destiny is intertwined with a dragon. This Dragon's Dogma trailer isn't totally clear on all of the story elements, but it's a solid cinematic experience that might sway those on the fence -- if that doesn't work, then perhaps scoring a Resident Evil 6 demo code with purchase might.

5. Kid Icarus: Uprising Intensity Trailer

Nintendo has released a new Kid Icarus: Uprising Trailer that introduces the Intensity System. It's pretty much just like it sounds -- it allows players to use hearts, which are collected throughout the game, to place bets on a level to make it more (you guessed it) intense! While a nice feature for those who are gluttons for punishment, it's also incentive for confident individuals who want a nice payout for their hard work. The trailer attempts to show you the difference between what they describe as a 2.0 intensity and 9.0 intensity, but it's hard to make out a difference with so much stuff flying across the screen (imagine that in 3D). Just pay attention to the life bar that is quickly draining on the 9.0 side. INTENSE!

If they want real intensity, Nintendo should take advice from our list and put Pit (Kid Icarus) in Soul Caliber 6.

6. Trials Evolution Gameplay Trailer

Chances are, if you own an Xbox 360 then you've probably heard of Trials HD. The Xbox Live Arcade title is one of the most popular games on the platform, and also one of the most challenging. The sequel, Trials Evolution looks to keep the spirit alive. With racing that's just as crazy as ever, and a track editor, Trials Evolution is definitely one XBLA title to keep an eye on. Oh, and it has local multiplayer, WIN!

7. Kinect Star Wars Trailer

Kinect Star Wars still doesn't have a firm release date, but that's not going to stop Lucas Arts from releasing any trailers. While this one doesn't involve dancing, it's still filled with laughs. Though at this point, would it kill Lucas Arts to show off some gameplay? Sure, this live action stuff is pretty funny, but we've barely seen any in-game-action since the title's E3 presentation. Oh well, at least that awesome Star Wars Xbox 360 bundle is still on its way.

8. Motorstorm RC Online Trailer

Cross platform play is one of Sony's most touted features for the PlayStation Vita, after all, who wouldn't want to pause a game on their PS3 and resume it from anywhere on the Vita? Sony knows this and that's why they're bringing Motorstorm RC to the PSN. In the latest trailer, developer Evolution Studios shows off how the game's notification system will work. The title looks like it really gets the meaning of  "portable", and the notification system looks like it will definitely help players stay connected.
