With Tower of Fantasy sending the remnants of mankind to the budding world of Aida, players create characters that compete for the rare Omnium energy source throughout the game’s world. Hailed as a sci-fi alternative to Genshin Impact, players of Tower of Fantasy can get a quick edge in their quest for survival by getting Relics, or extremely powerful items containing vastly different buffs.
While players can proceed through the game without powerful Relics, obtaining some of them can give them an obvious edge to set them apart from their peers. However, for players new to Tower of Fantasy, just which Relics should they get to become the equivalent of their powerful characters in the Genshin Impact competitor?
Missile Barrage
- Rarity: SR
- Type: Attack Type
- Cooldown: 60 Seconds
Players of Tower of Fantasy would absolutely delight in some of the game’s stunning visuals, even rivaling the likes of Genshin Impact cutscenes. And to players looking for a taste of what intense exploration could look like for their characters with SSR Relics, the Missile Barrage is a nifty SR Relic for such a preview.
When deployed, a missile launcher appears behind the player for eight seconds, after which multiple missiles appear and strike at nearby enemies for eight (8) seconds. Targets hit by the missiles get damage equal to 34.8-percent of their ATK. And since the Relic comes with a 60-second cooldown by default, the Missile Barrage is a nifty ability to have to get some additional DPS in between mob encounters.
Upgrade Effects
When upgraded, the Missile Barrage gives players more opportunities to deal more damage to enemies. Considering the offensive nature of this Relic, players may want to consider upgrading this Relic to suit their more aggressive builds.
- 1-Star: Unleash more missiles per second.
- 2-Star: Give a 20-percent damage boost to missiles.
- 3-Star: The Relic now lasts for 12 seconds.
- 4-Star: Players get a 1.5-percent boost to Physical Damage even with the Relic undeployed.
- 5-Star: Players unleash more missiles after every second.
Strange Cube

- Cooldown: 30 Seconds
Players of Tower of Fantasy may admire the game for its liberty with regard to area effects similar to Genshin Impact attacks, allowing characters to have abilities that actively transform the environment to their benefit and the enemy’s detriment. Those who want a relic that starts to demonstrate such a trait effectively would want to acquire the Strange Cube.
This Relic, when deployed, will alter its surrounding gravity. Enemies caught inside this altered realm will receive 100-percent of the player’s ATK as additional damage while also being suspended in midair. After a short duration, enemies stuck in this manner receive 120-percent of the player’s ATK as damage.
Upgrade Effects
Players can capitalize on the offensive support capabilities of the Strange Cube through further upgrades. When boosted enough, players can devastate entire battlefields with this rather simple-looking cube, which can help players in squads that rely heavily on movement.
- 1-Star: When deployed, the Strange Cube now boosts damage dealt by 10-seconds for 10-percent.
- 2-Star: When players activate an Enchanted Cube, nearby enemies now get a 200 reduction to weapon charge.
- 3-Star: Enchanted Cubes now have two uses.
- 4-Star: Players get a 1.5-percent boost to Volt Damage even without deployment.
- 5-Star: Players gain weapon charges based on HP lost upon the Strange Cube’s activation. Every 1-percent of HP lost merits 10 weapon charges.
Omnium Shield

- Cooldown: 90 Seconds
Similar to fictional resources like Tiberium in Command and Conquer, Omnium in Tower of Fantasy is a coveted energy source that caused widespread conflict in the land of Aida. However, some players may have the luxury of being able to call upon its assistance in tricky combat situations. This is courtesy of the Omnium Shield Relic, which is one of the best defensive items in the game.
When activated, players get access to a nifty Omnium Shield that has 200-percent of the character’s Maximum HP. This will take damage that players would receive from projectiles, shielding players from pesky long-range foes while giving them room to strategize. Although not possessing other effects unlike other artifacts, the Omnium Shield boasts a nifty defense against otherwise hard-to-dodge ranged projectiles.
Upgrade Effects
When upgraded, players can further boost the defensive capabilities of the Omnium Shield. Aside from its extended cooldowns and overall HP, the Omnium Shield may be able to provide players with more ways to outlast even the toughest of foes.
- 1-Star: Enemies are slowed by 50-percent for 2-seconds once they pass through the shield.
- 2-Star: The Shield now recharges for 60 seconds.
- 3-Star: The Shield now lasts for 20 seconds.
- 4-Star: Players get a 2-percent reduction to Frost Damage, even when the Relic is not deployed.
- 5-Star: Allies passing through the Omnium Shield will get a 25-percent damage boost for 7-seconds.
Drone
- Rarity: SSR
- Type: Defense
- Cooldown: 120 Seconds
Players who got used to companions such as Paimon in Genshin Impact might want the same kind of ally in Tower of Fantasy. Those fortunate enough to grab the Drone as a Relic may experience a similar feeling, although for a limited time. When summoned, a small Drone appears beside the player.
At first glance, this seems like a rather lackluster SSR Relic due to its appearance. However, the Drone’s effects can be a life changer in combat. While deployed, the Drone boosts the player’s Damage Reduction by 5-percent every five (5) seconds across its 15-second lifespan, significantly boosting their defensive capabilities.
Upgrade Effects
When upgraded, the Drone can provide players and their allies with a whole host of additional abilities that can change their approach in combat. Acting as a bonus support unit, the Drone can give significant buffs to the team that is useful against elites and tougher bosses.
- 1-Star: The unit now grants immunity against crowd control for the next five (5) seconds.
- 2-Star: The Drone now lasts for 25 seconds.
- 3-Star: The Drone now grants an Inspiration stack every five (5) seconds. This gives its recipients a 5-percent damage boost for every stack.
- 4-Star: Players get 2-percent reduced Volt Damage even without Relic deployment.
- 5-Star: Players may get an attack recovery effect that converts 20-percent of damage received back to HP.
Hologram Projector
- Rarity: SSR
- Type: Attack Type
- Cooldown: 180 Seconds
Wouldn’t it be convenient if players of Tower of Fantasy could just have a copy of themselves attack opponents so they finish off foes much faster? Players who want to mimic Naruto Uzumaki’s signature Shadow Clone technique may finally get the chance to do so with the Hologram Projector. While deploying this Relic summons a circular drone that hovers above the player, there’s much more in store for players who use this Relic.
When activated, the Hologram Projector releases a hologram of the player that mimics its actions for 15-seconds. If these actions are attacks, enemies receive 35-percent of the original damage of the user. Although 35-percent might seem minuscule, being able to repeat the same devastating combos against opponents can amount to 135-percent damage dealt to foes, which is still a significant attack boost if done repetitively.
Upgrade Effects
Players who upgrade the Hologram Projector may allow the character’s hologram to deal more damage and function more efficiently as a combat assistant. This allows the Hologram Projector to be a more viable asset in intense situations where players could use a helping hand, especially in solo encounters.
- 1-Star: The hologram now lasts for 20 seconds.
- 2-Star: This Relic’s cooldown now lasts for 120 seconds.
- 3-Star: Tapping the skill button will allow players to teleport to the hologram’s position.
- 4-Star: Players get a 2-percent boost to Volt Damage even without deploying the Relic.
- 5-Star: The hologram now deals 50-percent of the damage that players deal to enemies. Transposing or teleporting to the hologram will remove crowd control effects plaguing the player.
Colossus Arm
- Rarity: SSR
- Type: Attack Type
- Cooldown: 300 Seconds
Squaring off against tougher mobs and bosses can spell a bad day for any Tower of Fantasy player who just downloaded the game, especially if they still haven’t gotten the hang of cooperative play or if they don’t have a squad. To those who obtained the Colossus Arm, this shouldn’t be any problem - especially if they need that extra punch, quite literally.
This ability spawns a gigantic Colossus Arm to fight by the player’s side for 20 seconds while also gaining hitstun immunity throughout the duration. This Colossus has normal attacks that deal 1,387.7-percent of the player’s ATK with a strong launch effect. Likewise, skills have 10-second cooldowns and deal 453.5-percent of the ATK of players with a strong suspension effect.
Upgrade Effects
When upgraded, the Colossus Arm gains various benefits that strengthen its capacity as a temporary tanking substitute.
- 1-Star: Fires two (2) missiles with each attack that deals 34.8-percent of ATK to the target.
- 2-Star: Its overall Cooldown is now 200 seconds.
- 3-Star: Fires four (4) missiles that deal 34.8-percent of ATK to the target.
- 4-Star: Reduces the player’s Physical Damage received by 2-percent even without deployment.
- 5-Star: The Colossus Arm now lasts for 30 seconds while players gain 20-percent damage reduction.
Type V Armor
- Rarity: SSR
- Type: Attack-Type
- Cooldown: 200 Seconds
Players who are fighting mob after mob might want something gigantic to spawn on the ground and just crush everything to smithereens. In the gameplay of Tower of Fantasy, such a mechanic exists through the Type V Armor. Although this Relic won’t summon a gigantic beast, this does summon a large drone that players can pilot.
When inside the deployed drone, players get a plethora of additional abilities. They now get Aimed Shot, which allows them to shoot rapidly to deal damage to foes. The Type V Armor lasts for 30 whopping seconds, giving players the ability to stay safe and sound within the armor while launching a counter-attack against foes.
Upgrade Effects
Players can capitalize on this mecha feature of the game through additional upgrades, of which they receive more abilities and capabilities to dish out more damage against enemies. Those who want to take on the role of sub-tanks will delight in using this drone, especially for their upgrade benefits.
- 1-Star: Players are immune to control and Flame Damage while inside the drone.
- 2-Star: Players gain the Artillery Fire skill while piloting the drone. This forces the drone to fire six (6) times to the locked-on target, of which each strike deals 155.2-percent of the player’s ATK.
- 3-Star: Players now inflict Burn when dealing damage while piloting the drone.
- 4-Star: Players get a 2-percent boost to Flame Damage even when the drone is undeployed.
- 5-Star: Players get the Flame Domain skill while piloting the drone. This releases a Flame Domain which deals up to 1,146.8-percent of the player’s ATK as damage to enemies in the area.
Spacetime Rift
- Rarity: SSR
- Type: Attack Type
- Cooldown: 100 Seconds
Given the nature of Tower of Fantasy as a sci-fi game, fans of the genre may expect some neat concepts in popular sci-fi material to be adapted somehow for the enjoyment of players. Such is the case of the Spacetime Rift, which provides the equivalent of a damaging anti-gravity field for players to exploit in combat.
When deployed, the Spacetime Rift deploys a proton bomb to a target location that collapses in a spacetime incursion. This sucks in targets for ten (10) seconds and then, after another 1.5-seconds, the central area deals 39.6-percent of the player’s ATK to all enemies stuck in the event horizon every 0.5 seconds.
Upgrade Effects
This bomb can give players more beneficial effects once upgraded, especially with regard to its crowd control capabilities. With the right set of upgrades, players may be able to have the Spacetime Rift as a nifty aggressive support ability to give them enough room to unleash their own combos.
- 1-Star: Enemies inside the Spacetime Rift but close to the ground won’t be able to dodge. The Rift’s duration is increased to 15 seconds.
- 2-Star: The target area of the Spacetime Rift is increased by 100-percent.
- 3-Star: Damage dealt to targets now has a 20-percent boost.
- 4-Star: Players get 2-percent reduction to Flame Damage, even when undeployed.
- 5-Star: Enemies cannot be healed while inside the Spacetime Rift.
Confinement
- Rarity: SSR
- Type: Attack Type
- Cooldown: 240 Seconds
Players being beaten to a pulp by some of the tougher foes of Tower of Fantasy may need just a second or two to recuperate in order to begin a counter-offensive, and such a privilege is what Confinement provides. Those who want to play a more offensive support unit may benefit from this Relic, especially when timed properly.
When activated, Confinement quite literally creates an area of confinement that is 7-meters wide. This lasts for 10 seconds, with enemies stuck in the area receiving 73.4-percent of the player’s ATK as Elemental Damage every second, similar to how elements like Pyro work in Genshin Impact. Enemies that touch Confinement’s energy waves get stunned for 2 seconds. Although short in duration on paper, Confinement can change the flow of live combat, especially in tricky situations where two seconds is all players need to survive.
Upgrade Effects
Players may bring the most out of Confinement upon upgrading the Relic. Each tier-level in its upgrade list provides more benefits that allow players to synergize with the Relic's offensive potential.
- 1-Star: Stuns now affect targets for three seconds, with Confinement getting a 180-second cooldown.
- 2-Star: Damage dealt by energy pulses gets a 30-percent boost.
- 3-Star: Cooldown for Confinement is now 120 seconds.
- 4-Star: Physical Damage of the player is boosted by 2-percent even without deployment.
- 5-Star: Confinement now triggers an earthquake every three seconds that suspends the target, though these can be dodged by jumping.
Alternate Destiny
- Rarity: SSR
- Type: Defense
- Cooldown: 90 Seconds
Players who are facing some tough enemies in Tower of Fantasy might want an easy out should they find themselves in a tricky situation. Such an exit can come in the form of Alternate Destiny, a sphere that lives up to its name for being one of the best defensive tools in the game, rivaling the likes of defensive Geo Users in Genshin Impact.
When activated, Alternate Destiny conjures a Pocket Dimension that consumes the player for eight (8) seconds. While inside this dimension, both players and their allies cannot be hitstun and won’t get below 20-percent HP. If players exhaust all eight (8) seconds inside this dimension, they cannot be affected by its effects for 45 seconds. Players who are gearing up towards Support or Tank roles might want to get this Relic to boost the survivability of the team.
Upgrade Effects
When upgraded, Alternate Destiny provides a plethora of additional boosts to its user’s support capabilities.
- 1-Star: Allies in the Pocket Dimension heal 15-percent HP across eight (8) seconds.
- 2-Star: Friendlies inside the Pocket Dimension get 25-percent lifesteal.
- 3-Star: Allies in the Pocket Dimension cannot be mind controlled.
- 4-Star: Get 2-percent boost in Frost Damage. This applies even when the Relic is not deployed.
- 5-Star: Allies get double lifesteal if their HP drops to 40% or below throughout the duration of Alternate Destiny.
