Tower of Fantasy is a massively multiplayer online roleplaying game (MMORPG) that provides players with unlockable outfits, further adding to the customization experience that made the game so appealing to fans. While Tower of Fantasy is another addition to the gacha genre, what interested many was the fact that players could create their own characters with in-depth customization.

8 Conqueror Outfit
This outfit is the first that can be unlocked for many players in Astra unless they choose to explore more of the other areas beforehand. Astra is the place where all players will find themselves at the start of the game, and once exploration reaches 85%, the Conqueror outfit will be unlocked for players to equip. It's important to note that all the unlockable outfits in the game can be color-customized with a handy slider, but color changes do cost 100 dark crystals.
This currency can be bought with real money but is also given to players as rewards as they play through the game. The Conqueror outfit is a popular choice amongst fans of the game, with its futuristic techwear style, combining a utility jacket with a skirt, crop top, and boots. To reach 85% exploration, players must open supply pods, unlock teleportation points, clear ruins and discover points of interest that reward them with nuclei. This is the currency used to "pull" on the gacha mechanics to earn weapons and skins.
7 Wastelands Wanderer Outfit
Banges is the second area that players will encounter during their time in Tower of Fantasy. As players continue through the main story, they'll find themselves exploring Banges, alongside completing side quests and main quests within this area. The Wastelands Wander outfit is a little edgier than the last, with a ripped skirt, smart crop top, and over-the-knee socks, paired with boots and accessorized with straps. The perfect outfit to farm conches in by the beach.
Similar to Astra, players must wander through Banges opening supply pods, killing enemies, finding nuclei, unlocking teleportation points, and clearing ruins to reach 85% exploration to earn this outfit. Players can then decide whether they want to continue to 100% exploration or move on to the next unlockable outfit.
6 Scavenger Outfit
This outfit is quite different from the previous two, with pants instead of a skirt, paired with metal armguards. The pants yet again seem to be styled after utility cargo pants, work boots, a crop top, and the interesting addition of a neck scarf. As Tower of Fantasy follows a mechanical, futuristic aesthetic, the metal armguards and gloves don't look out of place within the game's world.
If the original colors aren't to the player's tastes, they can change the color of certain aspects to match their style and character. This outfit is unlocked after reaching 85% exploration in Crown, with the same procedure as the previous two outfits.
5 Roamer Outfit
One of the more cutesy outfits that appear to be less inspired by mecha and seems to be a lot more stylized after the current fashion in the real world, the Roamer outfit is obtained after reaching 85% exploration in Navia.
The dress with charming details is accompanied by over-the-knee socks and stylish boots, paired with fingerless gloves and an oversized jacket. This Roamer outfit can also be color-customized, with players able to change the color of the dress and jacket as well as some smaller details.
4 Visitor In the Snow Outfit
This outfit can be unlocked by reaching 85% exploration in the area of Warren. The Visitor in the Snow outfit is a lot more covered up than the previous ones, mainly due to the fact that this outfit is unlocked from the chilly, snowy area in the game. Tight pants, matched with boots, what looks to be an armored top, and a thick jacket with gloves, this outfit is clearly inspired by the frosty temperatures of Warren. Following the futuristic and techwear aesthetic that a lot of the unlockable outfits have in Tower of Fantasy so far, this outfit follows suit.
The later areas in Tower of Fantasy tend to have an increased difficulty in reaching the nuclei that are sprinkled throughout the map, as well as more mushrooms involved in the charming jumping puzzles. These puzzles reward players with black nuclei, which can either be purples or golds to use on the standard gacha banners available in Tower of Fantasy. There is also an event banner with a limited-time character that uses the more elusive red nuclei.
3 Desperado Outfit
The desperado outfit in Tower of Fantasy is one of the outfits that can only be acquired by paying real money. The in-game currency used to buy these outfits is called Tanium, and the desperado outfit costs 1280 Tanium. As this is a free-to-play gacha game, it's no surprise that there are micro-transactions within. While Tower of Fantasy offers an array of free outfits that can be unlocked as rewards for playing the game, players can opt for purchased outfits too. As expected, the purchasable outfits do seem to come with more detailing and may even be preferred by some players compared to the free ones. It's important to remember that these unlockable outfits do not alter or improve gameplay in any way, they are purely just for cosmetics.
The desperado outfit includes calf-length pants with the other leg ripped up to the length of shorts, paired with a belt and chain. The shoes match the edgy side of Tower of Fantasy, adorned with spikes on one of them, accompanied by a sheer, cropped halter top and stylish oversized jacket. The small details on the jacket and belt look great in-game and this outfit can also be color-customized too.
2 The Mission Outfit

The Mission outfit is another purchasable outfit, bought with 1280 Tanium. While these outfits are optional, it's great that there are plenty of options for player's whether they choose to spend their money or not. The Mission outfit may be popular due to the fact that it looks incredibly futuristic and matches the overall aesthetic of the game really well.
Those who love mecha anime will like the Misato-style jacket, paired with the tight bodysuit seems fitting for the dynamic fighting style found in Tower of Fantasy. It's easy to envision a character wearing this outfit on a motorbike, as it seems to be inspired by protective gear, and luckily there's a motorbike mount to make that dream come true.
1 Operation: Streamer Outfit
This outfit is a popular choice for a good reason. The robotic legs, matched with metal features throughout the outfit, perfectly match the futuristic appeal of Tower of Fantasy. Much like the previous unlockable outfits, this one can also be color-customized to players liking. Operation: Streamer can be acquired by purchasing 1280 Tanium from the store. What makes this gacha game different from others, is the fact that you pull on the banners to earn weapons and optional skins, meaning you can keep your customized character as you use SR and SSR weapons.
The sheer transparent dress, with metal features, will appeal to those who love mecha anime, particularly Neon Genesis Evangelion. What's interesting about Tower of Fantasy outfits is that they seem to alter the character's body with robot arms, legs, and joints, allowing players to make even more unique styles when customizing their character.
