Much like its predecessor, Breath of the Wild, completing quests is a fun and rewarding aspect of Tears of the Kingdom. The action-adventure game offers explorers lots of optional quests as they progress through the game. Among them is Meat for Meat, a fun side quest that takes place in the Bedrock Bistro restaurant.

Completing Meat for Meat in Tears of the Kingdom requires players to collect a specific cooking ingredient. As simple as it may seem, this ingredient can be hard to source as it takes Link to a cave filled with cava. This guide will show players how to complete the Meat for Meat side quest in Tears of the Kingdom and appease the master chef.

To accept the Meat for Meat quest, players will have to visit the Bedrock Bistro restaurant located just north of the Eldin Canyon Skyview Tower (coordinates 1756, 1548, 0278). Players will know they’ve reached Bedrock Bistro when they see Gorons sitting at the tables and enjoying their meals.

There, they'll witness an argument between Mezer and Cooke, the owner of the Bedrock Bistro restaurant. Apparently, Mezer has lost a rare cooking ingredient, Marbled Rock Roast, so he wants Link to make up for it by bringing another one.

Go to the West Restaurant Cave

The Marbled Rock Roast is native to the West Restaurant Cave, and luckily for players, the cave is within walking distance of Bedrock Bistro. Players can also use a mine cart or follow the nearby mine rails leading toward the northwest until they reach the cave.

Near the cave’s entrance, they’ll see an NPC bathing in a pond. During the conversation, he will warn players of the cave's high temperatures and advise them to have some sort of heat resistance before heading inside. It would be a good idea to consume a fireproof elixir or wear heatproof armor to protect Link from severe heat.

Cross the Lava Pool and Collect the Marbled Rock Roast

After entering the cave, players will need to use the paraglider to glide across the lava pool. Once done, they’ll find lots of Marbled Rock Roasts nearby. Take at least one and use the Zonai Hydrant to make a pathway.

Take the Marbled Rock Roast Back to the Restaurant

Next, players will have to take the ingredient back to Bedrock Bistro. This will complete the Meat for Meat quest, and Mezer will reward Link with a Large Zonai Charge.
