How to Get the Mystic Clothing Armor Set in Tears of the Kingdom

Kilton and Koltin, monster shop vendors, in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

Players can obtain the Mystic Clothing armor set by exchanging Bubbul Gems with Koltin, who operates the Tears of the Kingdom version of Kilton's Fang and Bone shop from Breath of the Wild. To start the process, players must finish an introductory Side Adventure called "The Hunt for Bubbul Gems!" This quest entails meeting Kilton, Koltin's brother, who can be found northeast of Woodland Stable at the mouth of a cave near Pico Pond.

After successfully completing this Side Adventure, players will gain access to the option of exchanging their rare Bubbul Gems with Koltin in return for valuable rewards. Koltin will relocate to a peak of Ulri Mountain at coordinates 3662, 2064, 0168, just northeast of the Ulri Mountain Skyview Tower, where he will gladly accept the player's collected Bubbul Gems. His balloon-adorned cart is visible from Tarrey Town, where his brother Koltin can now be found.

The Mystic Clothing armor set consists of three pieces: the Mystic Robe, Mystic Trousers, and Mystic Headpiece. These three pieces can only be obtained from Koltin. When players speak with Koltin, he will offer to sell them an item that has a fixed cost in Bubbul Gems.

Koltin will not present a new item for purchase until the player has purchased his current offering. As a result, players will require a significant amount of Bubbul Gems to obtain all of Koltin's items sequentially and collect all three pieces of the Mystic Clothing armor set.

To acquire all three pieces of the Mystic Clothing armor set from Koltin, players must collect a total of 46 Bubbul Gems. The actual Mystic Clothing set pieces themselves require only 12 Bubbul Gems in total: the Mystic Robe costs 3 Bubbul Gems, the Mystic Trousers require 4 Bubbul Gems, and the Mystic Headpiece requires 5 Bubbul Gems. However, a significantly larger quantity of Bubbul Gems will be needed as players must purchase all of Koltin's items along the way to obtain the Mystic pieces.

Bubbulfrog zelda tears of the kingdom cave

Bubbul Gems can be obtained by defeating the Bubbulfrog enemy, which can be found in caves throughout Tears of the Kingdom. Once players discover a cave, it will be marked with an icon on the map. Inside each cave, they will encounter a single Bubbulfrog enemy, often found climbing on the walls or ceiling.

Occasionally, a Bubbulfrog within a cave may be hidden and require players to solve a simple puzzle or manipulate objects to uncover it. Once the Bubbulfrog is discovered, it can be easily defeated using a bow and arrow, yielding a single Bubbul Gem as a drop. When players successfully obtain a Bubbul Gem from a cave's Bubbulfrog, a checkmark will appear over the cave icon on the world map.

How to Find Caves with Bubbulfrogs in Tears of the Kingdom

Players will naturally encounter caves while exploring Tears of the Kingdom, but there is a method to make the discovery of caves containing Bubbulfrogs even more convenient. In various locations across Hyrule, players will come across Sakura Blossom trees adorned with pink leaves. These trees act as shrines where offerings can be made to Satori, the Lord of the Mountain, who, fittingly, will aid Link in his search for Bubbul Gems.

By placing any type of fruit into the available bowl as an offering, a cutscene will play, and Satori will approach Link. Large blue pillars of light will appear in the surrounding area that highlight the location of nearby caves. These caves will contain a Bubbulfrog that can be defeated to get a Bubbul Gem and, ultimately, collect enough to obtain all pieces of the Mystic Clothing armor set.
