However, the world of the Warhammer franchise is vast and filled with countless warring factions, so players are already anticipating which new groups will be added to the game in the coming months. Dataminers have uncovered a voice file suggesting that the Chaos Dwarfs will be coming to Total War: Warhammer 3 soon.
Beginners may find themselves with a rough time jumping into Total War: Warhammer 3, especially if they aren't already familiar with the franchise. This is especially relevant when looking forward to future factions, as many of these newcomers are deeply connected to the series' lore. The Chaos Dwarfs and their daemon-powered technology are no exception.
YouTuber Mamba King recently shared a short audio file datamined from the game that appears to be evidence that the Chaos Dwarfs are coming next. It may not be a surprise to learn that the Chaos Dwarfs are one of Warhammer's many Chaos-aligned factions, serving the malicious god Hashut, the Father of Darkness.
The leaked voice line doesn't go into great detail on what to expect from the faction, but it does feature advisor dialogue warning that Chaos Dwarfs are near. "Exercise caution, my lord, for your scouts bring word of Chaos Dwarfs nearby. The Legion of Azgorh are a callous and black-hearted foe, bearing little resemblance to their untainted cousins to the west. Keep your weapons close at hand."
This line is quite similar to other adviser dialogue for encountering just about any major faction in the game. It also specifies which faction of the Chaos Dwarfs are involved in the potential meeting, which is useful considering Total War: Warhammer 3's focus on lord-specific campaigns. The Legion of Azgorh is a band of exiles and criminals infamous for spreading terror across the land. They are based out of the dread Black Fortress in the Ashcloud Mountains.
Chaos Dwarfs are notorious for their mix of infernal magic and technology, and the Legion of Azgorh represents this. The group regards all other factions with deep contempt, which is likely to make negotiating with them exceptionally difficult. Sorcerer-prophet Drazhoath the Ashen is their commander, and he's likely to make his entrance as a Legendary Lord riding his giant fire-breathing winged bull. Fans can also expect demon-infused artillery cannons, heavily-armored guards equipped with axes that are also repeating rifles, and possibly even daemon-powered steam engines.
