From the ridiculous amount of music to the new innovations, Rock Band continues to impress as the top dog. With hype building for Rock Band 3, we here at Game Rant thought it would be fitting to figure out what just may be the Top 5 Track Packs of Rock Band. The combatants below have been tested strenuously by myself, and will be judged not only by the quality of music, but how fun they are to play for the whole band. Without further ado, let's just into what music packs are the cat's meow:

#5: The Best Of The Who Track Pack

Rock Band Top 5: The Who

Line-Up: Amazing Journey, Baba O'Riley, Behind Blue Eyes, Eminence Front, Going Mobile, Leaving Here, My Generation (Live At Leeds), Real Good Looking Boy, Sea & Sand, Summertime Blues (Live At Leeds), Who Are You, Young Man Blues (Live At Leeds)

It really is a teenage wasteland when you look at most Rock Band addicts, and The Who are the perfect fit in a game like this. Live Music sounds natural when playing Rock Band, and The Who delivers in the utmost style: true classic rock guitar shredding, a bass player who's all over the board, some of the best rock drums in the history of music and a voice that many gamers can replicate without sounding like a dying dog. The Who has found a good home in Rock Band, and we're happy it's here.

#4: Stevie Ray Vaughan

Rock Band Top 5: Stevie Ray Vaughan

Line-Up: Love Struck Baby, Pride and Joy, Texas Flood, Tell Me, Testify, Rude Mood, Mary Had A Little Lamb, Dirty Pool, I'm Cryin', Lenny

Let me tell you right now, this is the only blues DLC you will find for Rock Band and that's a damn shame. However, this is also some of the best blues in the world, the legendary SRV will delight any guitarist who plays the pack. All of the songs feature intricate solos and 'Rude Mood' is sure to test all members of the band. However, as the drums and bass get a bit repetitive (Lenny doesn't feature a singer, either) I can't put Stevie higher on the list. That said, I still think it's a must play to any Rock Band fanatic.

#3: Creedence Clearwater Revival Track Pack

Rock Band Top 5: Creedence Clearwater Revival

Line-Up: Bad Moon Rising, Born on the Bayou, Down on the Corner, Fortunate Son (Original Version), Green River, I Heard It Through the Grapevine, Lookin' Out My Back Door, Proud Mary, Run Through the Jungle, Travelin' Band, Up Around the Bend, Who'll Stop The Rain

The newest track pack out there, CCR has the amazing ability to make every song sound phenomenal. Anyone who picks up the microphone seems to be able to belt out a solid rendition of any of these hit songs, all of which are relatively short in nature but deliver a damn good feeling. The odd one out is 'I Heard It Through The Grapevine', which features a wicked 5-minute jam session with guitar and bass, but adds some nice flair to an already amazing setlist.

#2: Iron Maiden Track Pack

Rock Band Top 5: Iron Maiden

Line-Up: Aces High (live), 2 Minutes to Midnight, The Trooper, Wasted Years, The Number of the Beast, Run to the Hills, Can I Play With Madness, The Clairvoyant, Powerslave, Fear of the Dark (live), Hallowed Be Thy Name (live), Iron Maiden (live)

I don't think any list of top music is really complete without Iron Maiden. There's almost no need to mention how fun it is ripping the guitar apart, shredding bass, screaming at the top of your lungs and watching any drummer without a second bass pedal die, all at once! Iron Maiden provides a set of challenging music that spans through the years of the entire band, and top hits like 'Run to the Hills' and 'Number of the Beast' are always crowd pleasers - provided said crowd likes metal!

#1: ACDC Track Pack

Rock Band Top 5: ACDC

Line-Up: Thunderstruck, Shoot to Thrill, Back in Black, Hell Ain’t a Bad Place to Be, Heatseeker, Fire Your Guns, Jailbreak, The Jack, Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap Money Talks, Hells Bells, High Voltage, Whole Lotta Rosie, You Shook Me All Night Long, T.N.T., Let There Be Rock, Highway To Hell, For Those About to Rock (We Salute You)

There's no doubt in my mind at all: The completely live music set of 18 ACDC songs delivers the strongest Rock Band performance I've ever seen! The extended, live version of the songs total up to over 99 minutes of total playtime for each instrument, which makes this the ultimate rock pack available, hands down. Ridiculous solos, fast-paced bass, screaming vocals and an intense drum session await anyone who dares enter an entire live concert bundled onto your TV. Folks, if you don't have the pack, you need to get it - this is the top dog.

There you have it, Ranters - these Rock Band track packs have rocked the world of many gamers, yours truly included. Do you disagree with any of my selections? Feel free to recommend your favorites (unless you're a Miley Cryrus fan).
