The nostalgia trip that is Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1+2 brings back most things players love from the original games. All the classic stages and tricks make reappearances, as do the many common mistakes Tony Hawk players make.

Of course, there are some new features in Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1+2. A few notable features are the new secret characters, as well as the multiplayer. One more significant feature is the park editor, which is the game's version of a level creator. Players can unlock different obstacles and additions for a custom skate park by playing the game. While many creations stay grounded, others get far more exotic. This was the goal of a Redditor who goes by Skramblez when they made their park.

Skramblez created a public park modeled directly after Hyrule Temple from the Super Smash Bros. series. Hyrule Temple made its first appearance in Super Smash Bros. Melee and is a favorite for casual play. The Temple is huge, with several distinct areas for fighting and, due to its size, forgiving to anyone not launched from its edges. It may not be worthy of many Smash memes these days, but it has a colorful history. While Skramblez's recreation isn't as large comparatively, it is faithful.

There are several sections to the park, each floating just like the real Temple. Relatively little level ground adorns the islands, unless it is enclosed by or filled with ramps. Just about all the regular walls are replaced by ramps, ensuring it's difficult to fall off the edges. Even so, anyone unfamiliar with the map may have to pull up short of the edges a few times. Tony Hawk's Pro Skater has even inspired a self-kickflipping skateboard, so crazy creations are nothing new.

The floating islands may be something that makes no sense in Tony Hawk's Pro Skater, but getting between them isn't a problem. While characters in Smash Bros have to jump between them, there are grindable paths and rails in Skramblez' map to connect them. Even the tiny island at the bottom of the map is easily accessible this way.

Speaking of that island, it's one of the two coolest parts of the level. It's a simple, small bowl that lets players build momentum and skate high into the air to perform several midair tricks. The other coolest part is a hidden pit on one of the buildings, with huge, ramped walls and a triforce symbol at its center. While it may be impossible, this is definitely a course that it would be awesome to see Tony Hawk skate in real life. Players can find it by searching for Hyrule Temple in the park editor.

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1+2 is available for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
