Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1+2 Remastered has promised to deliver fans a nostalgic skateboarding experience with new visuals. As a result, the game is one of the most anticipated games of this year. Many players are currently enjoying the demo of the game and some have found an interesting feature. There are ways to alter the difficulty of the upcoming Tony Hawk's Pro Skater collection but it was labeled as cheating in the original titles.

The Tony Hawk's Pro Skater remaster promises a return of the majority of the original soundtrack that made the game special as well as the levels which provided plenty of ways to tackle the challenges of the game. However, the game is not completely based in nostalgia and its new menu options seem to be in place to help newcomers who are still getting to grips with their runs, but at the moment this feature may need some tweaking before the game launches.

The game has two options called "No Bail" and "Perfect Balance." The first allows players to land tricks even if they should fall off their skateboard and lose their points that they are accumulating. The second gives players the ability to grind infinitely because they no longer have to manage the balancing function in the game. These were previously called cheats and were unlockable as players progressed through the game but it seems that this option has been implemented to help newcomers to the series. However, this addition to Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1+2 Remastered may cause issues when the full game is released.

THPS Remastered has no bail and perfect balance

With the way the game implements the "No Bail" and "Perfect Balance," players could choose the option mid-run and rack up an incredible score without the game or other players being aware. Due to this, the option may be changed from being available in the quick menu and may require games to restart to keep the integrity of high scores. Despite this small issue, the team behind the game has time to rectify problems that feature in the largely enjoyed demo. If the small issues can be fixed, the team may bring Tony Hawk's Pro Skater back to its glory days twenty years later.

The Tony Hawk's Pro Skater Remaster is implementing changes but they largely seem to improve upon the original games. With that said, changes always require some trial and error and that appears to be the case in the difficulty settings. Despite some issues, this demo has made it clear that a lot of players are keen to experience a quality skateboarding game again and the title looks set to deliver.
