Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 + 2, Vicarious Visions' recent remake of the earliest entries in Neversoft's extreme sports series, has a lot of secret items like tapes on Venice Beach to collect. However, one of the biggest draws for the game is how much freedom players are given to ride around and rack up combos by chaining tricks. As one developer has shown, there are huge possibilities for how many crazy tricks dedicated players can pull off.

Andy Gentile, better known as AndyTHPS on social media, was such an avid Tony Hawk's Pro Skater player that he got to work on titles like Tony Hawk's Underground, and is now Senior Designer for Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 + 2. He recently scored over 100 million points in a single combo live on stream, showing off some of that prowess that helped get him involved in the franchise in the first place.

Though players who need extra assistance creating great combos could always unlock Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 + 2's cheat codes, Gentile is able to keep an insanely long, repetitive process going well into overtime during his session. Players can see his frantic button inputs through his stream set-up, and at the end he lets things fade out on a calm moment sitting in the Warehouse.

For those who are interested in learning how to replicate Gentile's impressive feat, he explained his process during a previous stream and uploaded the video to YouTube Sunday. Rather than focusing on major set pieces and things like completing hangtime gap challenges in the Hanger map, Gentile instead sequesters himself in a smaller area where he can complete a massive loop while performing tricks like short grinds and manuals to keep his combo going.

Though Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 + 2 has been a highly-anticipated and well-received return to form for the franchise, Crystal Dynamics' Marvel's Avengers has dominated sales charts in the UK. It's unclear where the skateboarding game will sit in monthly round-ups by the end of September, but according to GamesIndustry.biz it has sold 448 percent higher than 2015's Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 5 when comparing their first weeks.

Clearly the developers at Vicarious Visions poured a lot of passion into this remake, as evidenced by Gentile's ability to tear apart his own game. The part-time drummer also has experience on titles like Guitar Hero 3, and as a result likely had a sizable part in many people's gaming experiences growing up.

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 + 2 is available now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
