Spider-Man: No Way Home is almost out in theaters and many people are hyped for the movie's release, with news is coming out about the film almost every day. Now, the star of Spider-Man: No Way Home, Tom Holland, has discussed his idea for the future of the role.

Recently, many have been discussing the possibility of No Way Home being the "end to a trilogy" of Spider-Man movies starring Holland. Still, whether it's the star, fans, or even creators, people think the character is just getting started and should continue into another Spider-Man trilogy. Holland's take on Spider-Man has become one of the most appreciated versions of the character.

Recently, Holland discussed how he would like to see his character grow and expressed his love for the character. Speaking on Peter Parker's legacy to the Associated Press, Holland said, "I love this character more than anything. It's changed my life. I have a relationship with my fans that's so wonderful, I couldn't ask for it to be any better. But I wanna do what's best for the character. If it's time for me to step down and the next person to step up, I'll do so proudly." There's nothing wrong with wanting to do what's best for the character and knowing when the time is up, but for this character that may be very far from now, as Spider-Man is a part of a lot of Marvel story arcs.

One possible option for Peter Parker's future is to see him in a mentorship role where he's less involved on-screen, kind of like Tony Stark in Spider-Man: Homecoming. After the Iron Man trilogy, fans only saw him in Avengers films or in small cameos in a Spider-Man film. Something like this can be possible for Spider-Man as well, which Holland kind of alludes to being an option as Marvel brings in newer heroes. "I'd love to see a more diverse Spider-Man universe which would be really exciting. If I could be a part of that, I could be the Iron Man to the next young Spider-Man or Spider-Woman," Holland says, "that would be great. But at the moment, all I have to think about is the character and what's best for Peter Parker."

The world of Spider-Man is growing and growing. Seeing Miles Morales or Spider-Woman make their live-action debut is something that many people are highly anticipating. Michael Keaton's Vulture is set to film additional footage and it looks like both Venom, as well as Morbius, will be coming into the Marvel Cinematic Universe that Disney established. Seeing the web slinger's world look similar to the comics and cartoons, but now on the big screen, is a welcomed addition.

Even better would be Mahershala Ali's Blade making an appearance. Having him and Spider-Man team up against Morbius would be very reminiscent of the cartoons or even comic books from the early ages. The dynamic between the two is always fun to watch because they're essentially polar opposites.
