A comic book fan designed digital artwork of Loki star Tom Hiddleston as the Clock King, who is a relatively unknown Batman villain. Hiddleston looks the part as the nefarious villain, and the artist designed the character as he was in the same universe as Robert Pattinson's The Batman.

Right now, The Batman is set to feature Riddler, Penguin, Commissioner Gordon, and Catwoman. So don't have high expectations for seeing Clock King fighting against Pattinson's Caped Crusader in this particular film, especially considering the Riddler is already involved with a darker twist.

Clock King has made appearances several times, including in Batman: The Animated Series, Batman (1960s), Arrow, and The Flash. He's typically portrayed as a tactical planner and mastermind who is obsessed with time, even setting up traps and gimmicks that put people's lives at risk. He's very dangerous but not often seen getting his hands dirty. Instead, he's a much more behind-the-scenes or 'behind-the-screen' villain who lets his tricks do the work for him.

That description may sound like another villain in Batman's rogues' gallery, The Riddler, who is set to be the main villain of the upcoming Matt Reeves Batman film. So with that being said, Clock King wouldn't serve a purpose besides being a smaller villain if he were to appear in the film. Still, Hiddleston has proven he's more than capable of playing interesting villains through his work as Loki in the MCU, so this artwork of the actor as Clock King should be exciting for Batman fans.

So, if you want to see the character in a live-action format, this image will have to do. The artist's page can be found on Instagram at m.design34, which has other cool digitally created artwork that fits the comic book genre such as Robin, DC hero-turned-villain Red Hood, Green Goblin, Starro, and even a Jamie Foxx Electro redesign.

The page has a lot to offer for fans who want to see these characters come to life without having to wait years or months for a film to be released. The artwork looks lifelike and incredible because the artist uses the real actor/actresses' faces as the models for the character designs. Doing this helps make it easier for fans to imagine what these characters would look like on film, which is helpful since Reeves' The Batman feels like it's a long way away.

The Batman is scheduled to be released in theaters on March 4, 2022.
