It's true that strength may not be everything in life, but in the universe of Tokyo Revengers, raw power may be the difference between life and death. For the members of Toman and Moebius, honing their strength and fighting skills/techniques is a full-time job. It's in Takemichi's best interest to get in some gym days as fights are a rather regular occurrence for anyone involved with gangs.

Tokyo Revengers is an action-packed series with a great cast of characters. Here's every character's age, height, and birthday, and some trivia.

While each character may be strong in their own unique ways, when it comes to raw physical power, not every character is evenly matched. Here is each main character in Tokyo Revengers, ranked by strength.

Updated on October 16, 2023, by Christine Mendoza: With the recent release of the third season of Tokyo Revengers comes a whole new arc with a brand-new gang for Takemichi and friends to go up against in the fight for Hina's life. The newest season features the Tenjiku arc and the gang of the same name, led by the mysterious Izana Kurokawa, but still driven by main antagonist Kisaki. Of course, with the introduction of a handful of new faces (albeit bruised and bleeding), fans are eager to know just how much of a threat these new gang members are. To keep Tokyo Revengers fans up to date, the new Tenjiku members (as well as a few other Toman members who are now in the spotlight) have been added and ranked accordingly.

Disclaimer: Light story spoilers ahead.

28 Emma Sano

Tokyo Revengers Emma Sano

Emma, Mikey's half-sister, may be an important part of the series, but she isn't much of a fighter. As of the moment, the series has established her as an important tie to both Draken and Mikey as Mikey's family and Draken's long-time friend (and potential love interest).

Outside her role as someone dear to Mikey and Draken (and Hinata, after they cleared up any misunderstandings about Takemichi), Emma isn't known for her strength, but for her heart instead.

27 Naoto Tachibana

Tokyo Revengers Naoto Tachibana

Naoto Tachibana is Hinata's younger brother, and he's not exactly known for his raw physical strength. It's true that Naoto lets Takemichi handle most of the heavy lifting (both figuratively and literally) in their investigation and pursuit to save Hinata's life, but Naoto pulls his weight in ways other than physical strength.

Naoto's primary source of strength comes from his intelligence and deduction skills. After all, without Naoto's help, Takemichi would have no leads in order to set a proper game plan.

26 Hinata Tachibana

Tokyo Revengers Hinata Tachibana

Hinata is the catalyst for the events of the series as it is the protagonist's, Takemichi's, main goal to protect her. However, Hinata isn't just Takemichi's sweetheart and a pretty face. Hinata has shown off her strength (and her bravery) on multiple occasions.

She may seem like a cute and innocent girl, but she isn't scared to stand up for herself or those she loves, just like when she stood her ground against Mikey when she thought Takemichi was in trouble. Not many people have slapped the unstoppable Mikey and lived to tell the tale.

25 Yuzuha Shiba

Tokyo Revengers Yuzuha Shiba

Yuzuha is one of the many innocent victims who were unfortunately caught up in the violence of gang rivalry. Yuzuha is not only supportive of her younger brother, Hakkai, and his bond with the rest of Toman, but she is incredibly protective of Hakkai too.

Despite her small size and the fact that she isn't in any gang, Yuzuha is ready to fight if it's for the sake of someone she loves. She's proven herself by standing up to the tyrannical monster that is Taiju Shiba, her older brother. Yuzuha is tough, and her resolve to keep her loved ones safe even in the face of danger is clearly what makes her strong.

24 Takemichy (Takemichi Hanagaki)

Tokyo Revengers Takemichi Hanagaki

Takemichi isn't a perfect protagonist; he's got his fair share of insecurities and weaknesses. However, it is his flaws that make him such an interesting character to follow throughout Tokyo Revengers. Takemichi is constantly down on himself, scolding himself for being too weak or too much of a coward, and while he does still have his struggles, it's clear to see he's trying his best.

Takemichi's main strength lies in his resilience. He may not be as strong as Mikey and the others, but his near-unbreakable will is definitely worth a lot. It's a brave (and perhaps just a bit foolish) promise to make, but hopefully one day, Takemichi will make good on his word and actually become the head of Toman.

23 Akkun (Atsushi Sendo)

Tokyo Revengers Atsushi Sendo (Akkun)

Akkun is the courageous leader of his group of friends. Akkun can handle his fair share of fights and despite knowing that in all likelihood he will lose a fight, he still stands his ground and tries his best to defend his friends.

Akkun's main source of strength lies within his loyalty and his intense desire to protect his loved ones. The moment Akkun and his gang came in to save Draken and Takemichi, it was clear that Akkun's heart added to his physical strength.

22 Tetta Kisaki

Tokyo Revengers Tetta Kisaki

While Kisaki hasn't had many opportunities to show off his raw physical power, knowing that he eventually becomes the leader of Toman in certain timelines proves that he must be powerful in his own right. It goes to say that one doesn't rise to such an incredible position of power without being capable of great things.

Kisaki's true lengths of power and strength lie within his ruthlessness and perseverance to achieve his goals, no matter what life may stand in the way. Kisaki may not be physically strong like many of Toman's top fighters, but his ability to manipulate those around him is what makes him dangerous.

21 Kazutora Hanemiya

Tokyo Revengers Kazutora Hanemiya

Kazutora hasn't had that many opportunities so far to showcase his strength, but it's clear that as one of the original founding members of Toman, he has a lot of hidden qualities.

Kazutora can easily take care of himself in a fight but still clearly knows when to call in for some backup (or even resort to playing dirty). He's a dangerous force to be reckoned with, and his spontaneity only makes him a bigger threat.

20 Chifuyu Matsuno

Tokyo Revengers Chifuyu Matsuno

Chifuyu is Takemichi's right-hand man and Toman's First Division Vice-Captain. Chifuyu may be a kind person with a big heart, but that won't stop him from putting his fists to use when need be. Chifuyu is mostly a pacifist but can definitely take care of himself.

This Vice-Captain may be one of the less aggressive members of Toman, but he's proved the lengths of his strength occasionally. Takemichi should count himself lucky that he has such a strong and competent partner to cover his back.

19 Koko (Hajime Kokonoi)

Tokyo Revengers Hajime Kokonoi-1

Koko hasn't had his time to shine on the battlefield just yet, but the fact Black Dragons leader Taiju decided to give Koko the prestigious title of Elite Guard Captain is enough to prove exactly how capable he is. Koko is one of the main antagonists of this arc and has proved to be a formidable enemy.

During the big fight on Christmas in the church, Koko holds his own against Takemichi, and later, Mitsuya as well. Koko's fighting prowess is fairly matched to his best bud, Inpui, making the Black Dragon roster a dangerous threat to Toman's reign.

18 Inupi (Seishu Inui)

Tokyo Revengers Seishu Inui-1

Although viewers haven't seen much of Inupi in combat so far, it's important to remember that before Taiju took over as the leader of the Black Dragons, it was Inupi. Prior to Taiju's reign, Inupi had been undefeated in battle, giving him the title of number one in the Black Dragons roster.

Inupi isn't afraid to talk big when it comes to protecting his boss, and he is capable of backing it up. On top of his raw strength, Inupi isn't scared to bring weapons into a fistfight. While many other gangs consider weapons to be faux pas since their fights are meant to settle disputes, Inupi doesn't have this filter or desire to hold back.

17 Haruchiyo Sanzu

Tokyo Revengers Sanzu Haruchiyo

Sanzu has only been seen in the background of a few big gang fights so far, but from season 3 on, Sanzu will have a bigger role in the series. Sanzu so far has been shown to be a rather decent fighter who can definitely handle disputes on his own, especially when defending his fierce loyalty to Toman's leader, Mikey.

However, Sanzu's true strength comes from his ability to manipulate and control those around him, using his brain rather than his brawn in order to find a position of authority for himself.

16 Hakkai Shiba

Tokyo Revengers Hakkai Shiba-2

Hakkai may be the youngest in the Shiba family, but that doesn't stop him from being a tough fighter. Hakkai was exposed to violence at a young age, and although Taiju didn't do a great job as a "responsible older brother," fellow Toman member Mitsuya took it upon himself to help Hakkai hone his aggressive emotions into something healthier.

Hakkai as a young child knew he was strong, but with the help of big bro Mitsuya (and Takemichi), he grew even stronger. Rather than channel anger, Hakkai channeled bravery and decided to fight to protect those he loved around him.

15 Takashi Mitsuya

Tokyo Revengers Takashi Mitsuya

Mitsuya didn't get his chance to shine until the second season of Tokyo Revengers. Fans already knew Mitsuya was capable, but during the Christmas arc, he finally got to show off his skills. Mitsuya, the second-division captain of Toman, is one of the more level-headed members of the gang. Though he isn't riled up like the others are most of the time, he still knows how to put up a good fight.

Even when up against the monstrous Taiju of the Black Dragons, Mitsuya held his ground. He even took a metal pipe to the back of his head (courtesy of Inupi) and only needed a few short minutes to recuperate and get back on his feet.

14 Ran Haitani

Tokyo Revengers Ran Haitani

Ran Haitani is the older Haitani brother and has a fairly tall build that gives him a natural advantage over his opponents. However, his real power comes from his weapons. Ran is often seen wielding some kind of weapon (namely his trusty baton) in order to quickly, and safely, take out any opponents that may have a natural advantage over him.

Regardless of Ran's tall stature, the Tenjiku member always seems to find a way to fight dirty. It seems as if Ran's strength lies in his weapons rather than his raw power.

13 Shion Madarame

Tokyo Revengers Shion Madarame

Former ninth-generation Black Dragon leader, Shion Madarame, is a well-seasoned fighter and has earned himself a rather high position of authority in Tenjiku. Just from his appearance, it's clear that Shion isn't the type of fighter that anyone can make light work of.

However, it is customary for no weapons to be used in most fights as a sign of honor and respect for both sides, keeping things as fair as possible. Shion is often seen with his handy pair of brass knuckles which surely gives him the upper hand when taking out crowds on his own.

12 Keisuke Baji

Tokyo Revengers Keisuke Baji

Baji is a former member of Toman and a new member of Valhalla. He's showcased his aggressive physical strength many times in the small amount of time he's been around in the series. Baji's best friend, Chifuyu, knows firsthand exactly how strong Baji is after allowing him to beat him unconscious in order to join Valhalla and prove his loyalty.

Baji has also been known to take entire crowds of delinquents single-handedly in the past, so there's no question that Baji deserves a high-ranking spot.

11 Rindo Haitani

Tokyo Revengers Rindo Haitani

Rindo is the younger Haitani brother and is also a member of the feared Tenjiku gang. However, unlike his older brother, Ran, Rindo is a very skilled fighter who often utilizes wrestling-style moves when in battle. He also primarily uses his own fists, keeping the playing field even, rather than having to resort to a weapon to gain an advantage like his older brother Ran does.

Rindo is seen as one of Tenjiku's strongest fighters and is definitely a force that Toman must keep an eye on.

10 Kakucho

Tokyo Revengers Kakucho

Kakucho was once a weakling just like his childhood friend, Takemichi, but now he is the head of the Heavenly Kings of Tenjiku as well as Izana's right-hand man. Although he throws his first fight against Takemichi (on purpose), fans should not underestimate him on the battlefield. Kakucho is leader Izana's right-hand man for a reason—he fought his way from being a weak crybaby all the way to the top of Tenjiku.

Kakucho's strength also comes from his resolve, and his ability to put all personal emotions and values behind him for the sake of following orders and doing what's best for the gang is also what makes Kakucho a formidable threat.

9 Mucho (Yasuhiro Muto)

Tokyo Revengers Mucho (Yasuhiro Muto)

Yasuhiro Muto, better known as Mucho, has a well above-average build, being much taller and wider than the average fellow Toman member. Mucho is often referred to as one of Toman's strongest members, being able to lift and throw opponents in battle with ease due to his exceptional height and natural strength.
