While not technically a tried and true Borderlands game, Tiny Tina's Wonderlands has seemingly managed to scratch that looter shooter itch for many. Featuring plenty of characters and references from Gearbox's popular shooter franchise, Wonderlands has been a hit with both fans and critics alike as it takes familiar features and continues to build upon them. For as popular as the game has proven to be within its launch window, the experience hasn't been flawless.Players have been making their voices heard through social media and sites like the Wonderlands subReddit. Much of these requests are seen as more quality of life updates, rather than overhauling major game mechanics, such as adding more options like Value to the Wonderlands inventory sorting UI. Other fans are hoping to see other UI changes with duplicate cosmetics continuing to drop in Brighthoof. While Gearbox hasn't acknowledged these requests, the developer is focused on fixing the bigger technical issues first.RELATED: Hilarious Tiny Tina's Wonderlands Clip Shows Paladin Mike's Bizarre JumpingTiny Tina's Wonderlands players may have noticed a small update when attempting to play earlier today. In a Tweet from the official game account, this update will address some of the crashes that players have been experiencing when they attempt to fast travel. In order to correct the issue, Gearbox has lowered the particle effects being used during Fast Travel to reduce the strain that these platforms experience.

For now, that's the only fix this update brings, but it's just another peice to the busy weekend Gearbox has had since the game launched. Unfortunately, Wonderlands released with serious connection problems to Gearbox Software's Shift server, resulting in players being unable to connect to online games. While the developer worked quickly to resolve the issues, the studio felt compelled to thank players for their patience by issuing out a code to unlock a free Skeleton Key to unlock new loot in-game.

Thankfully, the launch was relatively smooth once the connection issues were resolved. Even with the game being unplayable online, it didn't stop many fans from simply spending loads of time with the robust character creator. Unlike the Borderlands games, Wonderlands comes with the ability for players to create their own characters through a ton of customizable options. In fact, players have already created a ton of iconic characters using the creator including Kratos from God of War, Nintendo's iconic mascot Mario, Destiny 2's Commander Zavala, and plenty more.

Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
