Borderlands is known for its wacky sense of humor, pop culture references, and cel-shaded art style, which will all be continued in the spinoff game Tiny Tina's Wonderlands. The high fantasy setting features fully customizable characters and mix-and-match classes, much like in many classic tabletop games, but mixed with lots and lots of guns. During the new trailer revealed at The Game Awards, two new classes were annoucned in addition to more game footage.

Tiny Tina's Wonderlands is a new campaign set in the Borderlands version of Dungeons and Dragons, where the unstable pre-teen is the dungeon master. During the Bunkers and Badasses game campaign, the most underrated feature in Tiny Tina's Wonderlands may be the colorful environment that Tina weaves for the characters. Previously, Gearbox announced the first two playable classes available, the Brr-Zerker and the Stabbomancer. These are inspired by the berserker and rogue classes from classic fantasy games. Today, they have released the next two classes: Spellshot and Clawbringer. The Spellshot mixes wizardry and bullets, while the Clawbringer is a heavy hitter, much like the classic hammer-wielding Thor.

Like the other two playble classes in Tiny Tina's Wonderlands, the Spellshot class has a perfect mix between magic and bullets. Just as with all the classes announced so far, the Spellshot option has two specialty attacks. Ambi-hexrous assaults enemies in a blend of fire and ice magic shot from the spellcaster's hands before quickly switching back to their gun. If two-handed attacks aren't an option for a quick enemy, the player can use Polymorph to turn the poor creature into a harmless skeep, a monstrous sheep-like creature. In addition, they offer the Spellweaving buff, which increases fire rate and spell damage as they reload or cast spells. This allows them to switch between damage methods fluidly.

The Clawbringer is a skilled warrior class focusing on lightning and flame attacks. These warriors are rumored to have dragon blood in their veins in the lore of Tiny Tina's Wonderlands, which explains the companion dragon that follows them, breathing fire and slashing enemies with razor claws. In addition to the dragon companion, this class emits a Dragon Aura to boost party members' fire damage. This heavy hitter wields a huge spectral two-handed hammer, slamming it down overhead and onto enemies in the Cleansing Flames special attack, creating a fire nova. The other special attack will remind many gamers of Thor's classic attack. Throwing his hammer and calling it back. The Storm Dragon's Judgement is shown in the trailer with a little message stating "legally distinct from Thor." The Storm Dragon's Judgement is the same, though it unleashes a powerful electrical attack upon impact.

With the four classes known so far, players will have various attack-focused options but will have to wait on supporting roles like a bard or cleric option. As fans wait on the next update about the game, there are many things they can unlock or purchase, like the special edition Tiny Tina's Wonderlands Loot Crate available for pre-order.

Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands will be available for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S on March 25, 2022.
