Tiny Tina's Wonderlands was officially released on March 25, but the PC version exclusively came out on the Epic Games Store. Gearbox recently announced an official release date for the Steam version of Tiny Tina's Wonderlands, confirming that it launches on June 23.

Epic Games has been securing exclusivity deals for various PC games, including multiple high-profile titles such as Borderlands 3 and Final Fantasy 7 Remake, for a while now. However, the PC version of Borderlands 3 was exclusively available on the Epic Games Store for six months, while the deal for Tiny Tina's Wonderlands lasts for just three months. Gearbox will offer Tiny Tina's Wonderlands on Steam at a special discounted price from June 23 to July 7, and the developer has also released a new Shift code to celebrate its launch on the storefront.

The new Shift code for Tiny Tina's Wonderlands is 5ZWTJ-XXBT3-FXWRZ-XJJJT-96XZ6. It gives users three skeleton keys that can be used to open a chest inside the hub area Brighthoof. It works similarly to the Golden Keys from the Borderlands games and the redemption process is relatively straightforward.

Players can use this key on the official Shift website or inside the Shift menu in Tiny Tina's Wonderlands. They will receive an in-game mail with the Skeleton Keys attached. After that, they just need to go to a designated chest in Brighthoof to get their free loot. It should be noted that Brighthoof is not available from the beginning of the game and users must play the opening few hours to gain access to the hub area.

Gamers will also unlock other facilities in Brighthoof as they progress through the game, including the ability to increase the maximum ammo count of each weapon type. Additionally, fans will get access to Chaos Chambers after beating the main story of Tiny Tina's Wonderlands. These function as brand-new endgame activities that give out more exciting loot.

Tiny Tina's Wonderlands is not a new numbered Borderlands game and it largely builds upon the mechanics introduced in Borderlands 3. As a result, there was probably less hype leading to its release as compared to a mainline title. However, Tiny Tina's Wonderlands ended up being a sales success, with Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick calling it the "best new franchise launch in several years." Gearbox has not released an official word on the total number of copies sold, but the upcoming launch on Steam should also be a success, especially considering the lack of new releases in June.

Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
