Tiny Tina's Wonderlands has officially been released, and gamers everywhere are hard at work exploring the tabletop RPG campaign fan-favorite Borderlands character Tiny Tina has crafted. Part of the appeal is a surprisingly detailed character creator that allows players to transform their Fatemaker into any number of characters from other franchises. Now, one Tiny Tina's Wonderlands player has turned their character into the iconic Scorpion from Mortal Kombat.

Scorpion is one of the most steadily popular characters across the entire Mortal Kombat franchise, and it may be easy for fans to see why. He's a tragic figure who goes from villain to hero and back in his quest to avenge his murdered wife and child. He's also an undead ninja with fire powers animated by hellfire and his burning thirst for vengeance. The result is a character who has something for everyone.

Redditor SkeletonMuffin4 shared a screenshot of their Tiny Tina's Wonderlands character with a comment that they had accidentally made Scorpion from Mortal Kombat. The character is wearing a yellow face mask, a black and yellow hood, and what appears to be a black and yellow stylized ninja outfit similar to the ones used to mark Mortal Kombat's various ninjas.

This isn't the first time gamers have tried to recreate iconic characters in Tiny Tina's Wonderlands, but it may be one of the most accurate. Scorpion's armor and outfit design have changed a lot over the years, but his hood, mask, and color scheme generally remain consistent. It seems that the Knight's Veil and Cloak and Dagger cosmetics do a good job of evoking a similar feel. The chest armor featured in this design also has a bony structure to it, which serves as a reminder that Scorpion is often depicted as being a burning skeleton. His mask appears to create an illusion of a living man, but his eyes still give him away by glowing brilliant white or yellow--or by being the filmed-over eyes of a corpse.

As of writing, it appears that other Tiny Tina's Wonderlands fans are interested in this Scorpion recreation. Several users asked where they could acquire the Knight's Veil and Cloak and Dagger cosmetics. One user suggested that SkeletonMuffin4 make the rest of the Mortal Kombat ninja, which prompted them to explain that they already had. Apparently, SkeletonMuffin4 equipped their character with the mask and hood cosmetics and then realized they really looked like Scorpion's gear, prompting them to put the rest of the outfit together.

Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
