Tiny Tiny’s Wonderlands features a standout hub area in Brighthoof, with the area around Queen Butt Stallion’s castle sure to feel like home to players. This includes Izzy’s Fizzies, a Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands area that is comparable to Moxxi’s bar - though with a different kind of humor helping to define it.

Not only can players that have gathered all Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands’ collectibles listen to poetry in Izzy’s Fizzies, but the pub only serves non-alcoholic beverages. Though this does help the game keep a T for Teen rating it also plays off the idea that Tina is still not old enough to drink. With another fun joke coming in the form of Izzy’s accent, as she talks like she is from Minnesota purely because Tina was running out of ideas for unique voices in her campaign, there is already plenty to laugh at in this part of Brighthoof. According to one gamer, though, fans have only been looking at the joke from one angle.

However, it seems like there is another funny aspect of Izzy’s design that a lot of Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands players have not picked up on. While Izzy’s Minnesota accent is obviously noticeable, so too is her height. The bartender is incredibly short, with her being one of the smallest characters that gamers will meet when adventuring through The Wonderlands. As pointed out by Reddit user Bunguin87, this height is intentional, as it plays into a joke about Izzy’s occupation.

Izzy serves mini sodas exclusively in her pub, so Bunguin87 argues that Gearbox made her shorter as a reference to her job. Further, they point out that the Minnesota accent is likely a further play on “mini soda,” adding to the depth of the joke. With every aspect of Izzy’s character seemingly playing into the soda-serving that she does around Izzy’s Fizzies, this seems to be one of the most thought-out jokes in a game that is absolutely full of comedic moments.

It is worth noting that fans have seen Gearbox getting creative in some other ways when it comes to Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands jokes. For example, while red text still features some great nods to meme culture in the form of Shrek and Joe Exotic quotes, players also discovered some changing red text once a weapon was fired. With some of the jokes in the game seemingly having layers, like evolving red text and the character of Izzy, it could be a while before gamers find everything there is to laugh at within the fantasy-themed looter shooter.

With Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands’ Season Pass promising more content for the spin-off, plenty more jokes are on the way. For now, though, fans can continue to appreciate Izzy and her “mini soda” connections.

Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
