Tiny Tina's Wonderlands is an action-RPG FPS Looter Shooter developed by Gearbox Software and published by 2K. A spinoff of the Borderlands franchise, the game throws players into Tiny Tina's latest Bunkers & Badasses campaign, facing off with a variety of foes in her Campaign Setting, the Wonderlands. With the villainous Dragonlord looming over the land, the Fatemaker(s) must traverse the Wonderlands and do battle with him and his minions to save the world and get some sweet loot along the way.

In order to face off with Imelda, players must once more travel to Dreamveil Overlook and seek out the magic mirrors that lead to the various mysterious Mirror worlds. The mirror that ultimately leads to Imelda will glow green and display the aforementioned Sand Witch when approached.

Players need only journey through the mirror and fight their way through the chambers of the challenge within to ultimately come face to face with Imelda the Sand Witch.

Fighting Imelda The Sand Witch

Imelda the Sand Witch makes for an especially challenging final battle in the Glutton's Gamble, wielding some truly deadly magical attacks. During the first phase she teleports around the balcony launching elemental energy balls at the player(s). These deal incredible damage, so players should stay on the move as much as possible to avoid them. Running is the best way to do this, outpacing the projectiles and taking cover as necessary.

It is possible to gain height and a better vantage point for attacking Imelda by using the pipes that spew green liquid/gas found around the arena. These will launch the player up to the other balconies, making it easier to pepper Imelda with attacks. On the subject of actually attacking her, homing weapons and magic are excellent for damaging her despite her constant motion during phase one. Ferriore weapons can be handy for dealing additional damage while reloading, and also for attacking without having to leave cover for long. Since she has a red health bar, fire attacks will shred through her health much faster than other damage types.

Another useful tip for phase 1 is that many of her attacks can be avoided by hiding under whatever platform she's currently attacking from, though this makes it difficult to actually attack her (unless homing attacks or Ferriore weaponry is used).

Once Imelda reaches half health the cauldron in the center of the room will begin firing out elemental orbs, creating an additional obstacle for players. The biggest change comes when she hits around 25% of her health. This causes her second phase to trigger, where she dives into her cauldron and transforms into a goblin creature. At this point she begins throwing out food that deals poison damage on contact. Use the pillars around the room as cover to avoid these attacks.

Keep on the move throughout the fight, and especially during the second phase, since her homing attacks combined with her army of gingerbread soldiers can quickly decimate a player's health bar if they stay still for too long. On the subject of the gingerbread soldiers, players shouldn't bother killing them unless they're getting in the way, and instead keep them around to use as fodder in Save Your Soul mode, should they get hit by a fatal attack. With all this in mind, Imelda can eventually be taken down, completing the Glutton's Gamble.

Tiny Tina's Wonderlands is available for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
