Tiny Tina's Wonderlands is an action role-playing first-person shooter game developed by Gearbox Software and published by 2K Games. A loving mash-up of Borderlands and Dungeons and Dragons, Tiny Tina's Wonderlands is fantasy-filled adventure through a tabletop realm in which players loot and shoot their way through various, scenic levels and encounter some lethal bosses.

One such boss is Wastard, a necromancer who has his spirit ripped from his body for defying the game's main antagonist, the Dragon Lord. Known also as the "Son of a Witch" boss in the chaos chambers, players are having great difficulty overcoming this challenge because of the boss's ability to one shot the player character with his projectile attack, so fans have been searching eagerly for a solution.

Luckily, Redditor jochinhs is here to save the day, as Tiny Tina's Wonderlands can be a difficult game without a helping hand or a guide. They are kind enough to share a video that shows the best way to avoid instant death when facing off with the Son of a Witch boss is to use a sigil. In the video, one can see the player cast the sigil as soon as the encounter with the boss starts, blocking several one-shot kill capable projectiles, and the sigil being used is the epic Snowballing Fortifying Sigil. This gives the player a chance to regroup after the projectile attack and start doing some damage to the boss.

Different sigil spells have different casting methods. The sigil spell in this video has a "cast around the owner" method, which means it creates an area of effect around the player and the effects of the sigil last as long as the player remains within that area. Because of the fortifying defense aspect of this particular sigil, the player is able to stay within its bounds in order to be safe from the boss's projectile attacks.

Borderlands 3 players will recognize spells in Tiny Tina's Wonderlands to be similar to grenades in that there are many different types with varying and complex effects. These spells not only contribute to the high-fantasy, D&D-like tone of the game, but also add an element of complexity and depth to the combat.

Though many may find the use of a sigil to be a cheap method to shield oneself against the Son of a Witch boss's projectile attacks, Tiny Tina's Wonderlands encourages all players to use every possible bit of their arsenal to emerge victorious.

Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
