Nowadays, it’s pretty hard to avoid some type of spoilers for Marvel Studios movies, and Thor: Love and Thunder is no exception. However, while Christian Bale's final reveal as Gorr the Butcher might have to wait until the film’s trailer comes out, the actor’s LEGO form paints a nice picture of what to expect.

This is far from the first time LEGO sets have teased characters, scenarios, props, and vehicles in superhero movies. One recent case of this was The Batman's different LEGO sets, while Disney already showed one of the official action figure lineups meant to accompany Thor: Love and Thunder.

The Gorr the Butcher minifigure will come bundled as part of “The Goat Boat” set, which will be available for pre-order on the LEGO shop starting on April 26, and its 564 pieces will retail for $49.99. Joining Gorr are Thor, Natalie Portman's Mighty Thor, Valkyrie, and Korg. In the set, the Asgardian god is sporting his Stormbreaker hammer, plus a bunch of other accessories, like a map of Asgard and authentic brick goats.

The biggest takeaway though is definitely early confirmation of what Bale could look like in Love and Thunder, as his character can be seen with a completely pale white physique that looks very similar to his comic book version, save for the slightly darker head and the absence of any kind of hood. Gorr's signature weapon is none other than the all-black Necrosword. In comics lore, the blade formerly belonged to the entity known as Knull, who is most famous for creating the symbiote race Venom and Carnage belong to.

Do keep in mind that pictures of Bale as Gorr the Butcher did surface last summer while Love and Thunder was filming in Australia. Nevertheless, it’s pretty obvious visual effects artists have a lot of work to do in order to make the jump from that to what LEGO Gorr looks like. Naturally, Bale must feel right at home in the MCU given his Batman from the Nolan era remains the standard Robert Pattinson and Matt Reeves will be aiming to surpass in The Batman.

While the first two Thor movies are among the weaker MCU entries, Taika Watiti's Thor: Ragnarok often finds itself on the opposite end, and the director will be keen on repeating that success in what has been described as one of his wildest films yet. Maybe this LEGO Gorr will prompt artists to switch up their designs bit too.

Thor: Love and Thunder is scheduled to be released in theaters on July 8, 2022.
