Fresh off their holiday event dubbed “Witchmas,” Netflix continues to tease more of what’s to come for The Witcher season two. After revealing everything from a few photos to a season one blooper reel and video encyclopedia of The Witcher’s monsters, as well some small internet bliss with a rare Roach interview.

All that of course came after The Witcher’s official Twitter account polled fans continuously for days, asking if they’d rather get a named sneak peek or easter egg, instead of playing their chances with the Continent's favorite debt cancellation method, the law of surprise. For most of Witchmas, fans of the show decided to go with the odds, nevertheless that doesn’t mean all that other content should go to waste.

The rest of the Christmas presents from The Witcher are hidden on the series’ official site, but the NX On Netflix account dug up and tweeted out one of those in the form of a single page from season two’s script. The relatively spoiler-free excerpt introduces at least 3 new characters by the names of Colin, Meena, and Kira Coppercloth, with the first two likely enjoying quite a short-lived existence, and Kira left on her own after her parents’ death.

As the script details, these events take place in an abandoned mountain village with Henry Cavill’s Geralt sadly not showing up to save the night, this time relegated to voice-over dialogue for the potentially harrowing scene that’s likely to introduce a new monster for him to take down.

The Witcher recently announced their animated feature film The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf is also coming in 2021, yet it’s not clear whether the series or this new anime movie will land first on Netflix. 2020 has been quite rocky in terms of scheduling with incidents ranging from COVID-19 to Henry Cavill getting hurt on set.

With filming currently on break for Christmas, there’s very little chance that The Witcher production has had enough shooting time to have a season two trailer ready, so for now, fans ought to enjoy the remaining surprises from the show’s lore.

The Witcher season two is coming to Netflix in 2021.
