The Witcher tells the tales of Geralt of Rivia (Henry Cavill), Yennefer of Vengerberg (Anya Chalotra), and Cirilla, also known as Ciri, of Cintra (Freya Allan). The Witcher Season 2, at its core, seems like it will be the story of this rather unconventional family coming together. It's what the show seems to be heading towards. Of course, it's a possibility that The Witcher Season 2 won't work out that way. However, there's also the possibility that it will.

Season 1 of The Witcher had the characters on separate paths and different timelines, but now they have converged. Therefore, it seems that Geralt, Yennefer, and Ciri will become a family. A found family.  The Witcher Season 2 could show its audience the importance of found families and why this one is so crucial for the story. And that could lead to more enjoyment for fans.

Geralt, Yennefer, and Ciri, if they all meet up in The Witcher Season 2, could be a special relationship. Definitely one worthy of fans' attention. With Geralt and Ciri's relationship getting more focus in season 2, all the writers of The Witcher would need is to add Yennefer. Though Yennefer might need to be independent for a while, that will only make the reunion with Geralt and meeting Ciri all the more compelling.

The Witcher Season 2 might be even better than season 1 in many ways. And one way will certainly be the development of the found family at the center of the story. This development will serve all of the characters as well. After all, people change and grow when encouraged by those around them. And all three main characters are already extremely compelling. Imagine how much more compelling they could become if given a chance to grow.

In order to understand the importance of the found family they create, it is critical to understand all three characters. Geralt seems to be somewhat of a loner. Yet fans know that he has a softer side. And he might show more of that in The Witcher Season 2, especially when he's around Yennefer and particularly Ciri. Yennefer is a powerful mage but she feels that life has no more to offer her. She wants to have a legacy, a family, to leave behind. Enter Geralt and especially Ciri. Since mages are sterile, Yennefer is unable to have a biological child. Yet, she could act as a mother figure to Ciri in The Witcher Season 2. Ciri herself has become more independent since the fall of Cintra.

However, she still needs people to take care of her. She is still young, after all. And everyone needs people to look out for them. No matter how strong and capable Ciri might be, she will still need some help occasionally. That's just realistic. And that is where Geralt and Yennefer come in. They can be there for Ciri, help her grow, and support her as she becomes more powerful. Everyone needs people like that in their life. Especially Geralt, Yennefer, and Ciri in The Witcher Season 2. The Continent is a dangerous place, but it's better with some company.

The Witcher Season 2 could show its audience that family is more than just those you're related to. It's those who love and care for and support you. And that's a powerful message. Many people in real life depend on their families, both found and otherwise, for love and support. The Witcher Season 2 could show, with Geralt, Yennefer, and Ciri, that families are deeper than blood. What makes someone family is that they care for you and are always there when you need them. And that's a great message, especially for those who aren't close with their families for whatever reason. The Witcher Season 2 could show viewers that found families are just as valid as those related to you. That they're both equally important and valid. And that could really warm the hearts of those with found families.

Even those without them could see their importance and their validity through watching The Witcher Season 2. And that's really beautiful.  Of course, not every fan of The Witcher will agree. Some might not be that intrigued by the family relationship of Geralt, Yennefer, and Ciri. In contrast, others will enjoy it but for other reasons. What's important is that fans love Geralt, Yennefer, and Ciri as characters in The Witcher Season 2. However, this relationship would be good for all three of them. It will help them all grow as people. And character development is important for a good story. And it might just be extremely compelling for fans as well. Not to mention the great message it would send to many fans with found families of their own. This relationship seems like it will be a special one. And what more could fans ask for with The Witcher Season 2?
