Netflix's The Witcher series created a new take on the popular gaming franchise and the fantasy world it comes from. Recently, concept art has surfaced that shows a different take on the fantasy races than what fans ended up seeing on the television screen.

When The Witcher show was released on Netflix, a lot of attention was brought to the franchise. While Season 1 brought a compelling story that fans are looking forward to seeing in Season 2, the series also displays some of the many fantastical races and creatures that high fantasy stories often contain. While fans of the show haven't seen all of the Netflix versions of different races in The Witcher world, the new art shows what they could have potentially looked like.

The concept art came to light through Pixoloid Studios, a company known for the concept artwork they've drawn up for many different television shows, movies, and video games. The studio is known for its quality art work, and that excellence comes across in their artwork for The Witcher series as well. The beautiful artwork showcases early designs for fantasy races such as elves, dryads, halflings, and dwarves that have been seen in the show's open world. This art pictures the aging process of dryads, the differences in miner dwarfs compared to dwarf warriors, as well as elves with characteristics of different ethnic expressions in the real world. Along side these characters, the artwork also captures different costume designs.

One interesting aspect of this artwork is that it includes concept art for goblins. Fans of the television show know that there has been no appearance of goblins yet in the story, so this may foreshadow their inclusion in Season 2. The concept art displays variations on what criminal and thief goblin faces would appear like next to the average townfolk goblin. The artwork also shows full-body pictures of goblins, which look somewhat similar to the full-body concept art of halflings.

As fans look forward to future seasons of The Witcher, this artwork can give them something to entertain themselves with. The goblin art leads to a lot of speculation on how this fantasy race could fit into the world as the story continue or if they'll be included at all.
