The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and Assassin’s Creed Odyssey fans have shared countless pieces of fan art over the years. However, the latest piece brings the franchises together, combining an iconic character from The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt with the protagonist from Assassins Creed Odyssey.

Yennefer of Vengerberg is beloved for several reasons. Her character design is striking, leading to many great Yennefer cosplays that perfectly capture the essence of the Sorceress. Her powers make her an intimidating threat, though her personality shines through in her conversations with Ciri and Geralt. Sometimes caring and sometimes cruel, Yennefer is a well-written character that stands out from Geralt’s other romance options due to the history between them. Now, gamers know how she would look if she were thrust into the world of ancient Greece.

While Assassin’s Creed Odyssey fans have two protagonists to choose from, Kassandra has taken center stage in recent years. Like Yennefer, she has a memorable character design, with her braided hairstyle and muscled-up physique helping her to stand out from other Assassin’s Creed protagonists. She also has several weapons and armor types that players can track down, and Reddit user chloetheninjapenguin has chosen to give their Yennefer and Kassandra hybrid the Pegasos armor set.

While the silver armor does come with a helmet, it is obviously left off so that aspects of Yennefer’s character design can be seen easier. The armor features a stylish wing on the shoulder as well as a cloak-like portion on the left side. Both are perfectly captured, and that is hardly where the representation for Kassandra stops. This art sees the Yennefer and Kassandra hybrid rocking the latter’s hairstyle, and the braid looks great. Kassandra’s facial features are also captured, with the shape of her nose, eyes, and lips being spot-on.

There is plenty of Yennefer to see in the crossover piece too, however, like the character’s raven-black hair. Yennefer’s choker and pendant can also be seen, both of which are always seen around the character’s neck in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. The Kassandra and Yennefer art also includes Yen’s purple eyes, a part of her character that is heavily focused on in the books, show, and games. Overall, the piece has an even mix between Yennefer and Kassandra’s defining features, and the two fit together extremely well despite the different worlds they come from.

On first glance, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt fans and Assassin’s Creed Odyssey players should be able to notice aspects of Yennefer and Kassandra. Unsurprisingly, the response to this artwork has been overwhelmingly positive, with chloetheninjapenguin getting plenty of well-deserved praise for this unexpected pairing.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is available now on PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One, with PS5 and Xbox Series X/S versions in development. Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is available now for PC, PS4, Stadia, and Xbox One.
