From Geralt and Dandelion, to Yennefer and Triss, there are many characters from The Witcher 3 worth cosplaying. One Witcher 3 fan though, stepped outside this usual character assortment and cosplayed Keira Metz.

In The Witcher 3, Kiera Metz is a sorceress that the player encounters in the early portion of the game. Both intelligent and cunning, it quickly becomes clear she has an agenda of her own while assisting Geralt in finding Ciri. Like Yennefer and Triss, player's have the option to romance Keira Metz—doing so though, may have some lasting consequences. Although her first formal appearance is in The Witcher 3, she was mentioned in passing in The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings, serving as an advisor to King Foltest as Yennefer would come to do as well.

Recently cosplayer marven_art posted their incredible Keira Metz cosplay to The Witcher 3 subreddit page. In the series of pictures, marven_art shows off their excellent stitching skill in replicating the intricate design of Keira Metz's dress, as well as the assortment of jewelry she wears. Later pictures show the character in scene, plucking grass and working at an alchemy bench, common actions of the sorceress in the game. Like other recent Witcher 3 cosplayers, marven_art's natural resemblance to Keira Metz further bring the character to life beyond the clothing and scenery.

A scroll through their other posts reveals that Keira Metz is not marven_art's first Witcher related cosplay. They have attempted high profile characters such as Yennefer, who design-wise is a stark contrast to Keira Metz, but has also done beautiful renditions of Priscilla and Shani, two popular side characters. Again, marven_art's attention to detail is impressive throughout, not just in replicating character appearances, but conveying their personalities and character traits through the pictures as well. While the Witcher Netflix series likely won't feature Keira Metz, the costume design team could definitely call marven_art to help bring the character to life if she eventually appears.

At the recent WitcherCon, an event put on by both CD Project Red and Netflix, it was confirmed that The Witcher Season 2 is coming later this year, among other announcements. Naturally, speculation for the upcoming season has already begun, especially with the reveal of most of the episode titles. It seems that Season 2 is going to prioritize the development of Geralt and Ciri's relationship, but there is no telling which characters may appear from the extended Witcher universe.

The Witcher 3 is available on PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One.
