It's not The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, but there's something to be said about The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings. Players still have control over the monster hunter Geralt of Rivia, and their actions will take them down many paths and storylines. Not to mention, players have quite a bit of side quests to power through.

One of those is called Bring it on: Vergen. It's an arm-wrestling quest for Geralt only if he takes lorveth's path rather than Roche. Once Geralt learns that arm-wrestling is a dwarven pastime, he sets out to find worthy opponents in the town of Vergen. However, the world of The Witcher 2 is constantly moving. That means some players may be wondering where to find Yarpen Zigrin.

Where To Find Yarpen Zigrin in The Witcher 2

The Witcher 2 Plenty of Dialogue Choices

First, The Witcher 2 players will need to find a dwarf named Sheldon Skaggs. He can be located over at The Cauldron, an inn in Vergen. Sheldon will challenge players to an arm-wrestling match. This will be relatively easy and afterward, Sheldon encourages players to challenge Skalen Burdon, the local champion. Players may come across other dwarves, like Corden and Dalin, though Zigrin may be a little hard to track down right away.

In reality, players won't need to venture far, as Yarpen Zirgrin can also be found at The Cauldron. Some Witcher 2 fans may have seen the dwarf at the inn previously, though it's clear that Yarpen waits for no man. In that case, players should take their time to meditate and stay patient. At some point, the dwarf will return to The Cauldron, allowing him to be available to arm-wrestle.

The last four dwarves may have been a breeze, but Skalen Burdon isn't an easy win. Even so, if players manage to beat the champ, Sheldon and Yarpen congratulate Geralt and give him some runes as a reward. Players also have the option to challenge the Mighty Numa, though they'll want to make sure that they're ready. Numa is a formidable opponent, and worse, he'll try to accuse Geralt of cheating.

Those revisiting The Witcher 2 as a way to delay the need for The Witcher 4 still have quite a bit of waiting to do. Notably, despite the promise of big reveals at WitcherCon 2021, a new Witcher game won't be on the list. On the other hand, details regarding the second season of the Netflix series The Witcher are expected to come out, so fans won't be completely starved of new information.

The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings is available now on PC, Mac, Linux, and Xbox 360.
