The Sims franchise has been around for over 20 years now and still remains to be the most popular life-simulator game today. In 2014, The Sims 4 was released serving as the latest mainline entry in the series and has since spawned eight expansion packs, eight-game packs, and sixteen stuff packs. Despite its six-year existence in the market, The Sims 4 remains to be a popular game and a huge part of its success can be attributed to the sprawling modding community that supports it.

Now, luckily for The Sims 4 players on the PC, mods are an available option if they find themselves getting tired of the default settings the game offers. However, with tons of mods available online, it is difficult to know where to start. Life's Drama

the sims 4 camp

Although The Sims 4's Life Mode is pretty interesting in itself, sometimes it can be a little be boring and repetitive. Now, for players who want to add a little bit of spice to their neighborhood, Life's Drama may be the answer. The mod will bring a hit of controversy in every neighborhood giving players 11 new dramatic scenarios for the town's NPC'. Players can just look out their windows one day and see neighbors arguing.

Of course, players may choose to intervene and involve themselves in all the drama, but the option to just sit back and watch everything unfold in front of them is also available. While some of The Sims 4's official expansion packs will be able to add more color to the gameplay's players who want a little more drama in their simulation life will find this mod extremely enjoyable.

Have Some Personality Please

One of the key features of The Sims 4 is its overhauled personality system that has been vastly improved compared to its predecessors. However, players may find themselves wanting to overhaul the personality system and the Have Some Personality Please mod will provide players an option to do just that. During a conversation between two Sims, the usual route of just talking about pointless things will be removed.

Rather, both sims will choose to engage in interactions instead, which brings out a far more interesting outcome than just talking. These interactions aren't random, however, and the mod will pick a specific one depending on the traits, moods, and existing relationships between two sims so expect a lot of kissing and Woo-Hooing on random locations. This gives sims more autonomy than ever before, and of course, more drama to the gameplay.

MC Command Center

The Sims 4 MC Command Center

If having total control over the lives of a few Sims is not enough, the MC Command Center mod allows players to control every single aspect of the lives of all Sims living in the neighborhood. The MC Command Center gives players the power to find out who is pregnant in town, fix employment rates for Sims of different ages, and set certain clothing that everyone in town can wear.

Players are also given an option to turn on automatic settings that will allow non-controlled Sims to have full lives without having the player to manually do everything for them. This includes having babies, getting married, taking a job, etc. The MC Command Center is a perfect mod for those players who are not satisfied with the level of control the game offers by default.

Meaningful Stories

The Sims 4 Wicked Whims

The Meaningful Stories mod is a mod pack that combines the Emotional Enertia Mod and the True Happiness Mod. In this mod, Emotional Enertia has been reworked to allow Sims to have a more natural mood change rather than the robotic one that the game offers by default. In The Sims 4, a Sim's mood may change at the drop of a hat depending on the environment they're in. For example, a Sim who is feeling sad can just head down to a part of the house that is well-decorated to instantly change their mood from sad to ecstatic. This makes the reactions of sims a little bit robotic, which is what the Emotional Enertia mod brings to the table.

True Happiness, on the other hand, will only allow Sims to be in a happy state only if something happy actually happens in the game, such as meeting a crush or eating something good. This allows Sims to truly be happy, rather than feeling ecstatic for nothing. Additionally, the Meaningful Stories Mod doesn't only combine two mods together. Instead, it changes how they would react to their environment, making Sims appear more human, less AI.

UI Cheats Extension

Finally, the UI Cheats Extension is a mod that just makes cheating easier in the game. Most of the time, whenever players feel like they needed a bit more cash in-game, they would simply type up the cheat code motherlode. However, there are tons of other cheat codes available in the game, and instead of players memorizing and typing all of them when needed, they can just allow the UI Cheats Extension Mod to do it for them. Instead of manually typing cheats, the mod now incorporates every cheat in the game into the UI. Now, with this mod enabled, players can now activate their favorite cheats with only a few clicks on the mouse.
