Despite its worldwide popularity simply from its genre as a battle royale, the ongoing narrative of Fortnite has been tying the game's events and seasons from the very start. For months now Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson has teased his involvement in Fortnite, and in a new advertisement, this is practically confirmed.

Agent Jones' fight to save reality has been the crux of Fortnite's narrative, as new and increasingly bizarre cosmic entities and threats continue to wreak havoc on Athena Island. One part of the story has left fans particularly puzzled, Epic Games keeping its card pertaining to the mysterious organization The Seven close to its chest. Several members of this group have been revealed so far—The Visitor, The Scientist, The Paradigm, and The Foundation—the final character being the leader of the group, and the only one who's skin isn't available yet. Fortnite fans for months have speculated that The Rock may actually be The Foundation.

The Rock's prior Fortnite teases have been somewhat cryptic, but the latest one all but confirms the actor's involvement in the ongoing game. In a new tweet, The Rock delivers a promotion for his energy drink brand Zoa, while littering a ton of references to Fortnite throughout. Looking solely at the text of the post, The Rock name drops and emphasizes major Fortnite narrative points including "ZERO POINT," the origin of all reality in the game's universe, and "FOUNDATION," the mysterious member of The Seven fans think he is. To cap off the message, he uses "#ifyouknowyouknow" with a robotic flexing arm, suggesting his tweet is more than just a Zoa advertisement.

That's not all though, as the post also features a video that continues The Rock's subliminal connection to The Foundation. About halfway through the video, The Rock goes to a fridge to grab himself a can of Zoa, and sure enough, sitting on the top shelf is none other than The Foundation's helmet. The Rock pays the helmet no mind though, continuing to talk about Zoa's recent success, and using similar language found in the tweet's text. To seal the deal, Donald Mustard, the Chief Creative Officer at Epic Games, quoted The Rock's post, simply writing, "This is really good fitness advice."

While this is not a post of The Rock speaking into the camera, proclaiming himself as The Foundation, it is pretty close to it. It makes one wonder why Epic Games is being so cryptic about this development especially after going so far as to give The Rock The Foundation's helmet to use. The Rock was a part of Xbox's 20th Anniversary celebrations, so its no surprise to see him so heavily involved with a video game like Fortnite, considering how massively popular it is. Now it is just a matter of when Epic Games will finally pull the curtain back and make the deal real.

Fortnite is available on PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
