Although the majority of players would want to ensure the survivability of the nine protagonists in The Quarry, there are some that wish to kill everyone and only save one specific character. In this case, it’s Kaitlyn Ka, who was the Activities Coordinator at Hackett’s Quarry Summer Camp, as well as the Nurse’s Aid because of Laura’s absence.

Sadly, many sacrifices have to be made if people wish to obtain The Final Girl Achievement in The Quarry. That’s because all characters must be dead for this Trophy to be rewarded, except for Kaitlyn. As for the Hacketts family, their state doesn’t matter.

Killing everyone while keeping a character alive can be a bit tedious, as it requires very particular steps.

Preparations For Making Kaitlyn Survive

In chapter one, while Abigail is sitting on the cabins’ stairs in the first chapter of The Quarry, choose BREAK IN when Emma arrives and grab the forgotten Toy. It’s an important item that’ll save Kaitlyn in the last chapter.

While exploring the Police Station as Laura in chapter seven, don’t grab the syringe from the second floor. Instead, when she pretends to be sick, complete the QTEs, grab Travis’s gun, pick DEMANDING, then SHOOT TRAVIS.

How To Kill Everyone

4	Jacob Emma	Choosing HELP ABI will make Jacob run off to the bonfire. After saving Nick as Ryan, the bushes near the bonfire starts to move and make a sound. Paranoid, Ryan aims the shotgun at it. To kill Jacob, SHOOT TWICE at the bushes. Emma is a lot easier to kill. After she climbs the ladder to the treehouse, choosing OPEN TRAPDOOR makes a werewolf pounce at her, killing the Drama Coach.
6	Abigail	When Nick is about to transform, DON’T SHOOT HIM. He’ll later become a monster and decapitate Abigail.
8	Nick	In the Red Room while controlling Ryan, DON’T STOP Laura from shooting the werewolf with silver, because that’s Nick.
9	Laura Ryan Dylan	After Laura transforms, SHOOT Chris Hackett in Dylan’s perspective to cure Max and Laura. Since the latter shot Travis in chapter seven, he’ll stab her to death as revenge. The moment Laura dies, choose the AGGRESSIVE dialogue then fail QTEs. As a result, Sheriff Northkill takes the shotgun from Ryan and shoot him in the face. At the Scrapyard, while Dylan and Kaitlyn are searching for parts, pick: WARN KAITLYN, SOUND HORN to save her. After that, when the monster attacks Dylan, fail the QTE to brutally end his life.

How To Save Kaitlyn

Finally, to make Kaitlyn survive the long night alone, choose the following choices once she returns to the lodge:

Since Abigail took the stuffed toy in chapter one and left it at the lodge in chapter five when Bobby broke in, Kaitlyn will find it in the kitchen, throw it in the freezer as a decoy, and lock werewolf Caleb inside the freezer, thus saving herself and surviving the remainder of the night.

Once the Epilogue begins, players are rewarded The Final Girl Achievement.
